Nice to see somebody else familiar with FIXT. :)

Is it just the soundtrack stuff you like or do you also listen to the more rocky / synth fusion stuff too? I've always been a big fan of Celldweller and Blue Stahli. In fact as I was scrolling this, I was listening to Sunset Neon, which was Blue Stahli's 80's synth pop group:

From the FIXT Neon label, I really like Scandroid. The sci-fi concepts, strong melodies and those smooth synth sounds really hit the spot when I'm in more of a mellow mood:

This has been a recent fave of that whole synth / cyberpunk soundtrack crop, really beautiful duet:

I was vaguely aware of Christopher Cross because of Arthur's Song. I heard this on the radio the other day and didn't realise it was by the same artist, but now I've looked him up there are a few familiar songs that I didn't realise he wrote. Ride Like The Wind is a great song.

  • 2 weeks later...

Randomly, Manchester Orchestra appeared on my Youtube page. Never heard of them before, but after only an hour of listening to them I'm a fan.

This short one almost brought me to a blubbering wreck...

Not even sure why, but - hey - that's what music does for us.

A band I often put on at work at 4a.m. in the morning more than any other time (there are loads of these - bands that it's good to work to in the wee small hours).

Unida. From "Coping With The Urban Coyote". I'm having a listen whilst knocking up a bit of cookery that may end up being Rumpledethumps or something similar. Don't care. It'll be nom regardless. This helped though (horrible sound quality here though, mind):
