What Song Are You Listening To Right Now?™

That's weird. I think 'Martha' has just started dating one of my housemates. She was in my living room at the weekend anyway and I didn't invite her.

Damn. That's all sort of cool and stuff.

'S odd, Navigation's one of just a handful of albums I tinkered upon to help me through a pretty rough christmas last year, yet I've only just recently, past month or so, picked it back up. It's good stuff. Earthy yet spacey.

Anyway, to the matter at hand, :( Here we are then

The Chap - We'll See to Your Breakdown.

Amazing.

Almost any song off Root for Ruin by Les Savy Fav, but I'll go for High and Unhinged.

And finally, Metric's incredible Satellite Mind:

EDIT: err... have they changed the way you embed YouTube stuff, or am I an idiot. Or both?

EDI 2: thanks for the response below, but the easiest way is to wrap the full URL in 'media' tags, e.g. [ media ][/ media ]

(Without the spaces).

Spent the latterevening wrapped up in Rachel's' Selenography album (I heart the crap out of those apostrophes there). I was looking on YT to see if any tracks were uploaded and came across this jarringly stunning fanmade video to Louis LePrince.

Oof.

Ah, awesome. I chuffing well love McCarthy. Get yourself a copy of That's All Very Well But..., if you haven't already, it's a peach of a compilation.

Aye, I picked it up in Selectadisc for a paltry £1.99 when I was about sixteen, with only a vague awareness of who they actually were. Looking back, it makes me feel a bit sad that they had to reduce it so much. :(

The Major Cities Of The World Are Being Destroyed One By One By The Monsters - 65 days of static

As much as I like these guys, is it really necessary for all these post-rock/post-metal bands to have such stunningly pretentious titles for their albums/songs?

Don't even fucking get me started on that Fiona Apple one.
