Coheed and Cambria - Apollo II: The Telling Truth

In my presence

You will make sure the fiction meets its fate

That death will grace your face my dear character

Through these lessons you have learned

All the worlds from here must burn

For as God demands that the end we miss

What a fucking end to the whole thing.

OMD - This Is Helena

Incidentally, I think Dazzle Ships is one of the most criminally underrated records of the early 80s. If I ever get to pick RLLMUK album of the week, I'm going with that.

I managed to get a signed re-release from the OMD shop, and you're right it's a fantastic album. With beautiful tracks like International, Silent Running, and the pop of Telegraph and Radio Waves.

I do like God Shuffled His Feet, a worthy album from the early 90s.

I'm currently going through my collection of 7" vinyl, which was bought mainly for the adornment of my bedroom wall rather than for playing on a turntable. This has meant that almost half of the stuff gone through today is completely new to me. T.Raumschmiere's "A Very Loud Lullaby" was exceedingly crap, for instance. Odd, as I liked another track by them that appeared on a Rough Trade compilation album.

Currently on in the background: Jason Mraz's "The Remedy". It's...pop. Almost.
