I think we all need to give a bit of credit to Clichy. Helped win it in the first place, played like a chuffnut and got himself sent off to prevent City getting carried away with themselves.

Good work, Clichy.

We obviously don't expect any fanfares after tonight cos we did nothing and it means something to only us in the grand scheme of things but I don't think we get much credit for that season. I think it's only when you live it that it means something really special. I went that season with my dad, among many glorious seasons, and we're pretty chuffed right now. And with the 125 celebrations this season it feels quite nice.

I somehow managed to get tickets for the last game. I bunked off school and incessantly sat there calling the tickets hotline over and over again. Then I got through, but they had ran out, and I was totally gutted. As soon as I put down the phone my grandad rang me out of the blue and told me he had tickets. I was actually delirious.

I still remember going 1-0 down to the already relegated Leicester and their fans singing '1-0 to the Nationwide!', which was probably the best spontaneous football chant I've ever heard.

Everything about that day was amazing.

Yeah, I have some great memories of being in Highbury with my Dad that year. We were behind the goal we scored our 2 goals into on the last day of the season – I have a picture I took with one of those disposable cameras just as Thierry took his penalty.

Arsène Wenger's side finished top of Group F and will play one of the following seven teams: Napoli, CSKA Moscow, FC Basel, Lyon, Bayer Leverkusen, Zenit St Petersburg and AC Milan

Would rather avoid Milan. Played them quite recently and probably the toughest there. Napoli looked very good also. I'm just glad we can't play Barca again.

Listening to the Tuesday Club podcast and they've just mentioned that 'this is Spurs best league start since 1961 and they're only two points ahead of Arsenal who've had their worst start in 58 years'. Fantastic stat.

I don't even support Arsenal (although they're the Premiership team I always look out for) and I never thought Alan Davies was particularly funny before, but The Tuesday Club is easily my favourite podcast and the one I look forward to most. Anyone here who doesn't listen needs to sort it out.

They're alright. Would rather play them than Napoli though. Milan have had some very dodgy performances recently (first half vs Lecce springs to mind) but they have also looked excellent at times (second half vs Lecce). If they turn up they could cause problems, but I would still expect arsenal to progress.

The Italian league is quite hard to work out really.

Juve who are top are not even in the CL, Udinese are 2nd, not in the CL plus they couldn't even beat Celtic yesterday (c*nts cost me £170), Meelan are 3rd, Napoli are 5th and they effectively knocked City out & Inter are 7th and group winners in the CL.

That said, maybe the PL is also confusing as the top 2 & 4th are in the Europa league :lol:

Edit: just saw my mistake, 4th are not even in that
