Sky going "aren't arsenal glad they did the business before tonight"

I think we might just have played a better team if we where playing to progress! And at east hopefully have actually played like it meant something as well.

Tonight has demonstrated how crucial it is that we keep the first 11 fit & injury free. The fringe players aren't much cop.

Thierry at his statue unveiling. Amazing.

Wow... Makes me feel pretty emotional seeing that. Hearing the debate on who we had to pick from on 5 live this morning was amazing, we are so lucky to have had such players representing our club.

I feel proud to have seen that guy play. Definitely my favourite ever Arsenal player. What a legend. Look at that emotion. Some guy told me to sit down as I got a bit carried away with clapping him when we played Barca and he was warming up for them, a couple of years back.

pretty flat performance and ground seemed a bit edgy today, plus we spurned gilt edged chances as usual in the first half.

the goal was just sublime though, a real I was there moment.

didn't quite understand the logic of our formation today, was obvious they'd only play one up and then later on had the patented Walter Smith none up top formation, yet we still felt the need for 4 defenders, I understand injuries forced the choice of players on us but why string 4 centre backs out to play a defence minded team, its obvious djourou and verm wouldnt' be bombing on much. I'd like to have seen some innovation and maybe go 3 at the back with an extra offense minded midfielder, or even 2 up top, Wenger has many wonderful qualities and I've never once said I want him out but he does lack a little in terms of formation flexibility.

always good to get a tricky anniversary type match out the way with a win though

Just watched the highlights and I know it's impossible to tell much from them but we looked pretty decent today. Loads of chances, a couple of one on ones in the first half (Gervinho and Ramsey both should have scored) and no real chances from Everton apart from right at the end of the match. Great stuff.

We played quite well, created loads of chances and just got a bit edgy when one wouldn't go in. After the goal we just wanted the game to end.

The goal was amazing. A talented player playing with total confidence in his ability. He scores when he wants to indeed.

Koscielny was fantastic though. Snuffed everything out, was dominant in the air, always in the right place. A masterclass of defending.

They took a massive gigapixel photo as part of the 125th anniversary celebrations on Saturday and captured everyone in the ground. Not only do I get a really flattering picture of me looking bored, but I can finally put names to the people I've been standing next to for the last five years:
