Koscielny was good again I thought. I'd favour him and Verm I think. Mertesacker's positioning was all over the place today.

Santos was a bit better in the second half, but then he couldn't have been any worse. He was still taking huge risks by diving in all the time though, and he's slow as fuck.

Ramsey had a quiet first half hour but then came into the game more and played a few lovely passes.

Gervinho is fucking random.

RVP is a monster.

John Terry is a horrible cunt but he's made my day, so cheers for that John. You cunt.

I'm sure the screaming emanating from my front room convinced my neighbours I was doing a Vincent Tabak. Fuck me, I think that could be the best game of football I've ever seen. Eat a bowl of hot dicks, you knuckle-dragging, shitty barbour quilt jacket-wearing, shit watered down pub coke-having racist cunts!

Also, turn on Sky Sports 2 right about now for the last game of the 2003/4 season.

I think had Van Persie not grabbed a hat trick right at the end then Ramsey would have probably been man of the match. He was majestic in pretty much everything he did and pleasingly looks to be getting much more consistent from game to game. Koscielny was great and his reading of the game is first class. He was poorly let down by the defence around him but there we go.

Overall I don't think I've ever seen a team go from being so hopelessly shit to actually being very good in such a short space of time. Maybe Wenger is still capable of miracles.

Former Aussie cricket captain Steve Waugh says it best, when asked about his captaining philosophy.

Don't get too down when things are going wrong; don't get too carried away when thing are going right.
