Thanks humdrum. So, 2-1 win then.

I watched the highlights from the weekend only tonight, must say I was OK with it. Arteta looks very good. Not the most mobile or quick (a bit like Cesc) but highlights the difference between the typical English midfielder and the educated foreign equivalent. Gervinho the same, pacey and direct and a final ball. Ramsey, with a kid glove, could be amazing. His weight and subtlety of pass is sublime at times. Mertesacker could be the answer in his own very obvious way, ie let him direct and defend and not be left chasing shadows. Koscielny, as I've always thought, is a blinder. More of his attitude, please.

Wilshere to come in soon. RvP, amazing. Looking good, without tempting fate.

Park's finish was lovely. Pretty good turnout last night. As is often the case with the CC home games, there's a lot of people there who don't normally go so you tend to get a more positive atmosphere than in recent league games.

I can't be doing with going down midweek any more though; we got home at 1am and I'm knackered.

After a little scare last night TV is alive, well and even available for the Chelsea game.

I imagine he'll probably start on the bench though?

Play him in the middle and move Koscienly to right back? An idea but seems like a waste as he has been playing so well recently.

He might be better as a right back. It's a little bit less pressure and that does seem to be what messes him up most.

What's it now, 7 wins in 8 games? Certainly looking better than a couple of months ago, especially at the back. The Chelsea game will be a big test, it's away and Villa Boas has actually got them playing some decent football.

As good as it is to have TV 'fit' again, I think for now you've got to stick with the current pairing.

Agreed, just watched the extended highlights and TV looked a little slow, a little rusty - not surprisingly. Wouldn't swap him for either Kos or Beanpole just yet.

Fabianski looks like he could do with a damn good sleep.

Last night Nico Yennaris made his debut for the Arsenal first team.

Eight years ago he was the little kid (at the back) in my group of mates that went to the San Siro to see Arsenal win 5-1 against Inter Milan.

That's his dad with the beard. He sits in front of my mate and his mrs, at the Emirates and with whom I sometimes get a borrow of a ticket from if one of them isn't going. Do you sit near him now Mars? Have I unwittingly sat near you at the Emirates?

No I used to sit with the guy with the glasses who was good mates with his dad.
