ə is really common (also called the schwa), sounds like 'uh'. Broth..ers. Sist..ers.

That Wikipedia pronunciation is about right yeah. Though not sure the ə needs to be there at the end.

It really was a no-win one this, but I'd have put the word out that we'd be playing a full first team, get the stadium full and pray to The Fucking Gods that we hammered them. If the players want to whinge about tiredness they shouldn't have brought it to that point. As it is, the weight of pressure is now being put on the inexperienced players (and perhaps more insanely, a ridiculously weak bench). But that definitely won't work as an excuse - if Shrewsbury win the fan is going to be covered in a lot of shit.
