Come on the Shrews!

I reckon Arsenal will win tonight, Dortmund looked horrible against Hertha at the weekend and are still missing Barrios. Hard to see where they are going to score from. Maybe a set piece.

I disagree, the performance was bad, but the two goals that were conceded seemed almost accidental.

Barrios may have scored more than a few, however he is nowhere near as good as he could be. if rumours are true, Klose was meant to join during the summer, and he would have been the right fit.

In my opinion the reasons like elsewhere: Guendogan has yet to fill Sahins boots. Technically he is far better, but he has no gelled with everyone else yet. Klopp also made a rather questionable sub at half time, bringing on da Silva, who looked completely lost. Additionally Goetze was badly missed, as he is suspended for two games. Hope "Schwarz-Gelb" impress today. After all it has been eights years since that infamous night against Club Brugge which very nearly led to financial ruin.

Line up: Szczesny, Sagna, Koscielny, Mertesacker, Gibbs, Song, Arteta, Benayoun, Walcott, Gervinho, van Persie.

Strong team. Would hope we could get a draw from this.

I'm confused. I'm assuming it's Arteta and Benayoun in the middle in front of Song, but I thought Benayoun was more of a wide player.

Or are we actually playing 442? :omg:

My guess is Arteta and Song will hold, with Benayoun in front. But I expect Arteta to get forward tonight if we have some possession.

Interesting line up, I'm looking forward to this game, it's my last night on holiday and my gf is spending it watching football, again! So we better get a result.

Tell your missus the guys from the internet say hi! That'll make it all seem a bit less sad for the poor love :D .

Enjoy the last night of your holiday hercules.

Klose wouldn't really have suited their style of play would he? Goetze was a bad miss for them, but I think they look distinctly lightweight at the moment, they seem to have lost some of the drive they had middle of last season when they were playing fantastic football. Their midfield looks strong tonight though, I just don't like Lewandowski much, he looked great when he first came through in Poland, but hasn't kicked on. We'll see, I've backed Arsenal tonight as their price is too high, but I can easily see all three results happening, should be a nice open game.

And yeah, would be nice for Dortmund to win, great fans they have. As most German teams seem to, I watched the Dynamo Dresden vs Bochum game last night and the home fans were amazing.

Complete shambles to be fair. Four new signings and it shows.

When you've got RvP and Theo proving he does actually have that final ball.. Chocolate leg or not, great finish. Superb to win the ball and make the run from RvP, great goal.

Lots to do.

If we did actually bid for Gotze we should have just gone back with more money.
