I'm vaguely hopeful for Hazard, it has to be said. That he hasn't gone elsewhere does suggest he is either staying at Lille, or his transfer was conditional on us qualifying for the Champion's League. That doesn't seem ridiculous.

I suppose it's a signing at least, but the only way you could describe him as a continental defender is that he moves at roughly the speed of a continent shifting across the Earth's surface. That coupled with our high defensive line is a recipe for disaster.
