Top quality support from the away fans in the second half - didn't stop singing for a solid 20 minutes.

Also Steve you really say some shameful shit sometimes - Jenkinson has been put in a completely unfair position and has been absolutely brilliant, bags and bags of potential.

2 wins in 18. I wonder what Wenger has to do to make his position untenable. Anyone else would have been sacked.

If no players are brought in I'd sack him and start afresh. We are going nowhere as it stands so sacking him wouldn't be a gamble.

Nah in here we have people calling him a "cunt". I've never negged a gooner in here before, even when they suggest signing Ryan Shawcross, but fuck that noise.

Who the fuck are you, you plastic cunt? Fuck off to Le Grove.

no need to swear, we're all pissed off and emotional :(

fantasy premier league is my only solace this season

There is no way our lack of transfers is soley down to Wenger - there must be something we don't know about.

A manager is meant to make a list of targets and from then on its down to the negotiators and the money boys.

Wenger has clearly identified the players he wants but they aren't coming in - I don't know if it's wages or transfer fees or just good old fashioned incompetent negotiators but something is getting in the way.

Maybe so, but in that case he shouldn't be toeing the company line so religiously. He should be publicly pressurising them at this point. What does he have to lose?

Was he fuck. Every post he's made in this thread has been negative.

and what positives can you bring up for the last 3 years??? the club has become an absolute shambles even though we are held up by everybody as a beacon of financial stability! every year we've known the problems and players needed and they haven't been rectified.

even more depressing is that we won't be signing anybody before the transfer deadline and any arsenal fan who thinks we are is deluded.

there is a serious cancer at the club and its not wenger.

One of the worst days in this clubs history. But I won't blame all of the players. Sure, you can point fingers at the more experienced players, but the kids out there like Jenkinson and Coquelin couldn't do any more. There's not much even the likes of Traore can do. They are shit, it's as simple as that and it's not their fault. Arsene Wenger has to take the blame here. They went out and played as if someone had told them to do whatever the hell they wanted. In terms of coaching, he didn't have a clue today. A league two side would have given a better tactical show than that.

the thing is these kids should not be in this position. coquelin made his debut today for fucks sake! jenkinson was playing non league football last year! there should be established players in these positions and the youngsters should have been blooded slowly.

Which is my point exactly and Wenger is to blame for that. There are players who are just plain shit, like Traore, then there are players like Jenkinson who were nowhere near ready for a game like this. Either way, they shouldn't have been playing.

Well Wenger is taking the blame for that, but equally it could be the board. I don't think anyone outside the club really knows what's going on but there's definitely something wrong, obviously.

On the plus side, it's only three points, right? Getting points at Old Trafford is always a job.

Jenkinson should never have got himself sent off like that. That wasn't inexperience, that was just frustration and blatant unprofessionalism .

As for Wenger, he just sat on the bench like a lemon. He looked like a man who didn't have a clue.

Oh 100%

If it is the case that the money is not available then the board are playing him for an absolute cunt by not stepping in to support him in light of the media tearing him a-fucking-part - it would an almost unthinkable way to treat a man who has given the club so much.

I think someone has to come clean about just what the fuck is going on inside the club because at the moment everyone is in the dark and it just seems like nothing at all is happening.

Three days before the deadline and we need a left back, a centreback, a creative midfielder and a striker all of whom need to fit straight into the first team!

It's almost surreal.
