Mate, I genuinely salute your sense of fair play but if two teams come to an agreement over the transfer of one, two or three players I don't see the problem. Transfers between football Clubs isn't a new concept. If Everton have to sell players they'd rather keep then that's hard luck. The window lasts for a predetermined period and it's all fair, I really can't see the problem and I certainly wouldn't call it unpleasant.

Listen we were forced to sell Clichy, Cesc and Nasri, one way or another, and we don't even need the money!

There was an Everton fan on 5Live a few minutes ago who said he'd happily lose Arteta and Jagielka for some money to improve their team.

So I've changed my mind, if Everton's fans are happy with it, let's just have 'em!

Yeah but still, at least you had the good grace to consider them mate whether we agreed or not.

I'm all about treating others how I'd want to be treated myself

Owen Coyle is being a bit of a twat, blaming Cahill's poor performance today on Arsenal. He seems to have forgotten that it was him and his chairman that went to the press bitching about that, and if they'd kept their mouths shut Cahill wouldn't have even been aware of any offer.

I think they're probably obliged to make Cahill aware of the offer.

While that makes complete sense, it also makes my point null and void, and so in the nature of the internet I'm going to completely disregard what you said and stick rigidly to my original point despite realising that I am wrong. So THERE!

Did he really do that? He's a fool then. He's obliged to keep Cahill informed, that's fair and expected. Also fair to reject our offer, no problem with that. Any airing in public of proposed terms and offers etc. lacks class IMO and he can do one, and his chairman. They can slag off Arsenal all they like but we do seem to have a rule of keeping things private, at the very least.

I do hope Arsenal come good this season, or Wenger's sake more than anything. He's a bit of a ledge and brought a fantastic style of football to our shores that has been brilliant to watch.

And while his transfer policy has been criticised at the very least he's stuck by his morales and hasn't bent to pressure from anyone.

It's just a pity he's not had more English players to bring through really. Generally foreigners; we could have done with more Arsenal youngsters coming through for England.

Szczesny; Jenkinson Djourou Koscielny Traore; Coquelin Ramsey Rosicky; Walcott RVP Arshavin

Edit: And should things not go our way, this is what we have at our disposal to bring on from the bench.

Fabianski, Ozyakup, Oxlade-Chamberlain, Chamakh, Miquel, Lansbury, Sunu

Surely the weakest 11 Wenger has ever put out in the Premier League?
