I would like that too and I agree over Felaini, I've always thought he had some steel about him and he's no mug on the ball. Mind you, two central midfielders? That would give us Arteta, Felaini, Ramsey, Wilshere, Song and Frimpong. Is that one too many?

I wouldn't say so - Frimpong isn't particularly ready, Song can play further back in front of the defenders and for 4-5-1 you'd be more than set.

You could say that about Frimpong but there's already much love for him and I'd rather see him given a go than sign another foreigner, to be perfectly honest. If we went with five across midfield you'd really only play three of the six I mentioned. Song needs back up when he goes to the ACN but six CM seems a bit excessive. Maybe not though. We also have Diaby who'd clearly be first out of the door, Lansbury and Denilson who I can't really see coming back but still.

Would completely fuck Everton's season up though. That would be their midfield pretty much gone, their defence severely weakened, and of course their attack isn't that good to start off with. I don't think they'd go for it, particularly at this late stage in the window.

I would feel uncomfortable if we were even considering this. It's just not the kind of thing that's fair five days before the end of the transfer window. If Wenger wanted to do this he should have done it in July when Everton had a chance to recover from it, but to do it now would make Arsenal pricks.

We wouldn't want this to happen to us.

Even if it was true Everton are under no absolute obligation to sell any of them. They're stuck for cash and haven't signed anyone, maybe it would make sense and allow them to sell two or three and buy five. Yes, it's close to the end of the window but if an agreeable deal can be struck then fair enough. The window is the window.

Correct me if I'm wrong but Everton have no money to buy but they aren't in a position where they need to sell, are they? So it is not as if you're taking advantage of a club close to bankruptcy and raiding all their best players on the cheap.

As a neutral I hope you lot do get some good replacements in, the league is always better with more teams challenging for the title/top four places. However, you do fear for Everton if those three did go during this transfer window.

I know that they don't have to accept, something about making offers on houses, etc. It's just unpleasant that we'd even consider it.

I've seen nothing of this Monaco guy, so I'll reserve judgement until I see him play, but anything is better than Chamakh.

I saw the own goal he scored at the world cup, he's got a decent finish on him when he's not even trying. I read on the BBC that he'd agreed terms and had a medical at Lille and then he vanished, and they found out that he's on the way to Arsenal and are completely baffled as as far as they were concerned, he'd signed. I think that pretty much writes off any Hazard deal, their fans must hate us this summer

Everton are fucked. They're borrowing money to just pay for the running of the club, they had to get a legal block on the banks from calling in their loans and they're going nowhere. No money, no growth, nothing. There was an amazing transcript of a meeting of fan groups with Kenwright, he literally has no idea what he's doing. "What 'other operating costs'? I don't know, I don't know where that's gone" and he's talking about 24 MILLION POUNDS.

Moyes knows he's in a comfort zone, they worship him there and genuinely think he's a brilliant coach. This is the guy who cries poverty yet spunked £12m on Yakubu (let go this summer), £16m on Fellaini and £7m on Bilyatenidov (sp?).

Everton have fucked themselves in the arse with their board shenanigans. They were practically gifted a new stadium at King's Dock and just couldn't come up with a tiny portion of it (something like £15m more) to seal the deal.

Honestly, if they sold Baines, Jagielka and Rodwell it'd go to the banks and they'd keep their heads above water for another year. I know quite a few blues who are sick of their board and are trying to convince the rest of the fanbase of it but they ain't having any.

I'd feel more sympathy for the club as a whole but they laughed at us when we protested against our owners and said we were complaining about nothing. Definitely feel for the decent blues, though.

Unpleasant that we'd make offers on three players? Really?

From the same team, at once, when the transfer window is practically closed. Yes. Unpleasant.

If Arsenal were fucked financially, would you like it if some team tried to buy our three best players when there'd be no opportunity to replace them?

Mate, I genuinely salute your sense of fair play but if two teams come to an agreement over the transfer of one, two or three players I don't see the problem. Transfers between football Clubs isn't a new concept. If Everton have to sell players they'd rather keep then that's hard luck. The window lasts for a predetermined period and it's all fair, I really can't see the problem and I certainly wouldn't call it unpleasant.

Listen we were forced to sell Clichy, Cesc and Nasri, one way or another, and we don't even need the money!

We're signing a striker! Praise be!

Now to ask Sirloin if this fella is any cop.

"He has left for England, clearly for Arsenal," angry Lille president Michel Seydoux was quoted as saying by www.lequipe.fr on Saturday after finding the player's hotel room empty.

I'd be pretty pissed off if that happened to us. Hope this guy is worth it.

Does anyone know why there has been a noticeable increase of morons posting in this thread recently? Does FATEone have some alts or something?

By moron do you mean, not a blind cunt that believes all the pundits and you knobs when you try to tell us you play the best football, or you're like Barcelona, or that wasn't a dive, and other teams players shouldn't be allowed to tackle yours? Oh right, Ok then. :D
