Feeling a bit doom and gloom today, I don't feel confident that we are gonna make any signings worth talking about.

No, that cannot happen. It cannot and I refuse to believe that we won't invest a substantial amount of money in very good players. We absolutely must, everyone can see that. We're more or less a laughing stock, we need to do something and we will. If we didn't it would be evidence of massive problems at the Club, IMHO.

We have to make a signing of some kind, and I don't mean a Chamberlain, Campbell (have we signed him yet?) or Jenkinson type signing but another Gervinho. A recognisable name that will immediately be pushing for a position in the squad and it either needs to be a left back, centre midfielder (preferably a DM but a CM/CAM is also required) and a striker unless Wenger wants to use Gervinho/Walcott as back-up to RVP.

Yeah, I find it hard to beleive that AW is actually able to spend around £40-60 mill on 4/5 players, especially in the space of a week or two, but I just cannot accept that we wont spend big and bring in a few reinforcements.

At the start of the summer ppl wanted arsenal to sign around 3players, but that was to add to the squad we hadn't and didn't take into account that cliché, fabregas and probably nasri leaving who were all first teamers. So really we need a good 4 big players to join and ASAP because our squad is a shambles ATM and with three big games coming up I can't see us doin that well without immediate investment.

I think the only genuine concern I have at the moment is that the players we've bought so far were being covered in the press for weeks and sometimes months on end. Now the trail seems to have gone extremely cold with papers filling inches with the same tired old tosh about Cahill, Jagielka and Samba, this despite the fact that their managers have said we haven't made any contact for months, if we ever did at all.

Now, there is the argument that we do things quietly, but that hasn't been the case for years now. Every transfer of any note we do these days shambles on into a saga. I'd kill for a saga about now.

I sometimes wonder if we are over-reacting but there is a chance three players will be making their league debut on Saturday. Jenkinson is almost certain to start as is Frimpong. If Arshavin plays in the middle with Ramsey that means we either play Theo, RvP and Chamakh in some weird combination or give Chamberlain his debut too. That can't be right.

If Liverpool don't win that game i'll be very disappointed, almost as much as i was last saturday :(

I've got a feeling that Wenger is taking the buck for the club's own financial situation. I still feel that there must be a lot of repayment to be made for the stadium. Also it can't help having the club mainly owned by two individuals who are at loggerheads, both probably have different visions for the club and neither are willing to invest in it until they gain complete control. But this is the opinion of a outsider so don't profess to know the facts like the fans do

So you have loads of players out injured and quite a small squad to begin with. So what do you do? Why you loan another player out of course.

Arsenal defender Armand Traoré will tie-up a loan move to QPR before the end of the week, Gooner Talk understands.

What the fucking fuck is going on? Please, someone tell me.

No, thats exactly what's going on. Neither will gain 100% control however as there is still the Arsenal fan share scheme, but they currently support what Kronke is doing. It would make life much easier if Usmanov just went away really.
