So what to do with all that money? Well Scott Dann would be nice, then a big fuck of warrior to battle in the middle of the park.... feeling optimistic tonight :)

So these Jadson rumours, supposedly shakhtar have said we have agreed a deal for him and he even tweeted that big things are happening so does anyone want this to happen? I don't know anything about him really but wouldn't grumble if we signed him. He's 27 which makes a change for Arsenal but i would welcome it as we have enough youngsters. Let's hope some signings can be made this week as we are not looking strong in areas with the suspensions and injuries.

Well, I first heard of him in the last few days and I've only seen the typical YouTube video. But, you would have to say that his body shape, technique and all that looks class. I'd be relatively excited going purely on what I've seen and obv. Wenger will have had him watched. Knowing that Cesc was off I'm sure that there's a list somewhere with about fifteen names on it.

I think Fabregas' interview today was one of the best I've ever heard from a footballer. Truly a class act. It was easy to see that he was just a young professional who far from throwing a strop that we didn't win anything, feels let down by a club and manager he had a genuine love and affection for. That he actually cried in his last meeting with Wenger says it all and shows that any theory that you only get loyalty from English players is pure idiocy. I'd happily have him back at absolutely any point.

The trouble is, he's only going to get better. The only hope is that Guardiola leaves, someone shit comes in and brings Random Brazilian Worth Billions and Fabregas doesn't get any game time and comes back.

Whilst it's not a massively likely chain of events, I guess it is kinda possible.

I think the situations would be more comparable had Torres left straight after scoring loads of goals and before turning completely hopeless, then being replaced by David Ngog full time. For better or worse Liverpool spent £35m practically the same day to try and sort things out which kind of tempered things down a bit.

“In his interview Bendtner said he was gone, but I checked and he’s not gone at all!” he said.

I don't care about football. I want a Bendtner/Wenger double-act sketch comedy show, NOW.

Chamakh will start. I'd imagine we'll exhaust every option available, including playing Gervinho and Walcott through the centre, rather than cup tie Bendtner. He wants to leave, we're more than willing to sell, it would seem unlikely we'd do anything to scupper any such move, despite what Wenger might say.

Do we appear to be switching back to a counter-attacking team? There was some evidence of it at the weekend, although we were still doing possession based tippy tappy stuff too, although we still look abysmal in front of goal (either end actually), the amount of chances we squander must be amusing to the opposition really.

I honestly do not know where we stand anymore, I look at whoever we are going to be playing against and I have no confidence that we will beat them and can't even predict which way the result will go with any sort of hope in our favour, its a really really odd feeling to have and something I've not really experienced as an adult football fan as the last time we looked really unsure of ourselves was in the mid-90s imo and I was more than a little biased as an 11 year old...

Nasri:

I've been very disappointed by the supporters last weekend. I am still an arsenal player but I will certainly leave very soon...it's nearly done.. But I will leave with bitterness and anger in my heart... I am proud for having played with the Gunners...

Who said sending some pelters to your own players doesn't work.
