Well if as expected Song get charged we could get to see a midfield of Ramsey, Frimpong and Rosicky very soon.

Luckily we haven't got any tough games in the next...oh.

Well United should be without Vidic and Ferdinand when we play them, and their keeper is suspect with long shots.

We should beat them as long as we shoot any time we get near the...oh.

I quite fancy us against Man United & Liverpool. Despite all the woe with our team, they are nothing to be too concerned about. Plus United's keeper looks like a young Almunia so we just need to get some shots in & hope for the best.

It's a weirdo cult of a club.

Look at this!

"For me it's a special day. I'm returning home. I know that the Arsenal fans will be disappointed with my exit from the club, but I'm here to face an incredible challenge, the challenge of my life."

Who writes this shite? The challenge would have been dragging Arsenal to a trophy like a captain, not slotting into the slick system of Barcelona.

Come on. Why should he sacrifice his career for Wenger to continually surround him with shite, when he could be playing for one of the greatest club sides of all time. I have no bad feelings. The club will move on and change and I expect Wenger to bring in a couple more players before the window closes. I'm not quite as pessimistic as most fans seem to be.

So sad that he is now finally gone, when him and Flamini were at the heart of the team there was so much potential. I don't blame him for wanting to leave, but I don't think it had anything to do with not winning trophies at Arsenal, I think the second he heard Barcelona were interested he wanted to go there.

Apparently Arsenal fans were singing Nasri is a cunt on Saturday and Nasri has just tweeted that it was disrespectful and also tweeted congratulations to Fabregas.

I'm just glad that now the season has started we have a settled squad and all our transfers wrapped up.

'Samir Nasri has broken his Twitter silence to express his unhappiness at chants about him during Saturday’s game against Newcastle.

Arsenal fans, unhappy at having to go through another transfer saga with Nasri refusing to sign a new contract and reportedly on the verge of signing for Manchester City, re-arranged the lyrics of his song to call him a cunt.'

Cesc Fábregas left London with tears in his eyes and urged Arsenal to stick with Arsène Wenger – describing the coach as "the best person I have met in football". The Catalan also insisted that Jack Wilshere and Aaron Ramsey have the talent to take control of Arsenal's midfield for the future. Wilshere, he said, will be the England captain within three years and that Ramsey is on course to become Arsenal's "next star".

i don't see the problem with the transfer fee, and to be fair fabregas has become a slight liability with his injuries. Arsenal screwed Barca by pinching him from them in the first place for pittence, if giving him back for £35m is getting screwed over in turn then i'd know which screwee i'd rather be

The club didn't break any rules when they got Cesc. Just exploited some loopholes.

It's astonishing how little self awareness a person can have really. You act like a complete cunt for six months and can still have the brass neck to complain when the fans get sick of you. Frankly it would be easy to lose Nasri as he fell off the face of the earth around November time and the sooner we pack his belligerent arse off to City the better.

Footballers live in a bubble. They're surrounded by people who tell them how amazing they are and how they're the best and when they actually meet fans, it can be quite a shock. I know some of the Liverpool players had that shock under Hicks & Gillett/Hodgson when some of them got slated for their commitment and they confronted us, thinking we'd somehow back down in awe of their presence but instead they got torn apart. It was a really dark time for us and I think a lot of players began to realise just how fucked we were and how much the fans were suffering on and off the pitch.

At least as a consequence people finally realised how good Lucas is. Plus he's boss.

I'd go through the mentions of Nasri (nanas08) as there are some excellent ones. I liked this one:

"if you go to City you will have have darts thrown at you by Balotelli and Tevez might try and eat you. Or worse."

And the essentially non-sensical, but still kinda ace:

"@Nanas08 Stop whining. If you spent less time tweeting and more time signing a new contract maybe fans would treat you with the same respect"
