So Liverpool signed Enrique, I didn't realise Damien Comolli was making all their signings - I really get the feeling that guy plays Fantasy League a bit too much.

What's the current word on Cesc? All this stuff about him funding the move himself and payments in installments doesn't fill me with confidence that the move will go through.

Well, everything is saying he's basically gone but to me it's looking a lot more like he stays a season and Nasri goes now. I'm pretty sure I said the opposite in a previous post.

I know. Chamberlain finally signed!!!

I was at home for that-only been away for two days and heard whispers that Cesc had gone.

Wasn't expecting us to have also got rid of Nasri and then nearly bought in Dann, Jadson and linked with Hazard. I'd take that.

What do you think about Jack going, Blinky? Unbelievable, came out of nowhere :( .

If he went i'm not sure I'd be able to type through the tears. Thankfully got a text about the likely team on Tues from a mate thinking I'd be going.

The more I follow Jack on Twitter, the more I'm sure he's the best thing that happened to the Club since Tony came out of Chelmsford nick.

He's well needed right now. The new Charlie George.

Right, so according to the Guardian, Wenger has told the Chief Execs to finalise Nasri's and Cesc's moves. Here. 40m (Euro) for Cesc. Good luck to him, wish him the best. But whore-mouth Nasri will hopefully get hacked down without touching the ball. In his first game.

Now Arsene, spend. SPEND, you fuckerrrrrr!

I hope the Cesc stuff gets sorted out soon, I don't really hold it against him wanting the move but Barcelona should er maybe not be trying to sign players they can't afford and don't even need.

Nasri on the other hand, I hope he goes and does as well as Adebayor and Anelka and Overmars and Petit and Hleb and and all the other players who have left the club to further their careers but ended up in the reserves or being shipped out of the clubs they moved too.

£60m for the pair is decent overall. It irks that we've been successfully lowballed on Cesc but it'd be partially offset by getting over the odds for Nasri.

Fuck me though, that gives us like £80m to spend or something. Probably more if Bendtner and Eboue go. I can see us getting quoted some Carroll-esque inflated fees now that'll make Arsene and the board have strokes. Centre back and this Jadson fella (who Jonathan Wilson reckons is good) is a nice start but won't cut it. Centre back, left back, Jadson and Mata/Hazard? Won't happen, but that'd really lift the spirits I think.

A bit worrying though that Wilshere has had his leg put in a boot.

Centre mid on Saturday and Tuesday should be interesting. Song, Ramsey & Rosicky I suppose. This is assuming Ramsey wasn't injured playing for Wales and really was taken off as a precaution. Gervinho & Theo or Arshavin on the wings probably.

£60m sounds a nice number but I'm furious with the club for getting in this situation. The season starts tomorrow & the management are fucking clowns. This should have been sorted months ago, not on the eve of the season. We should have brought players in and allowed them to have at least part of a pre-season with the club before getting stuck into Premier League & Champions League qualifier matches. This month could define our whole season and any signings they make in the next 2 weeks could be too late.

As much as we all rate Gibbs, he's still not proven himself and Wenger hasn't bothered to replace Clichy which I believe is risky. Lets not forget that in the one match Gibbs had to deal with pressure he fucked up and gifted Man United a goal. He has never really been the same since that game.

Udinese will not be easy and it becomes a very hard game when we are missing arguably our two best players because we've had to flog them. As for Newcastle this weekend, if we fail to get 3 points the pressure will really be cranked up on Wenger. It's all going to boil over if he doesn't get off to a flying start. The pressure on him and the players is immense.

You should sign Scott Parker - you could get him for next to nothing, and he's the type of midfielder Arsenal really need.

Also, please do it before Peterborough play West Ham ;)

We offer 5 English pounds and a half eaten Snickers that melted a bit because we left it in the car when it was hot out.

Do we have a deal?

Arsenal are run by money conscious men who do not understand football. Besides, I don't think they are prepared to match the 3 trillion pounds a week West Ham are paying him.

Was kinda hoping that Arsene's press conference this morning was done Al-Qaeda style, shot in a cave on a phone camera with Cesc and Nasri next to him with sacks over their heads, pleading for their lives. I think they must have broadcast a repeat though as the digest on the site just says that Diaby's injured and RVP's having a fitness test.

All Wenger said yesterday was that Cesc and Nasri would have their futures sorted out "within the next day or two."

The BBC translated that as "WENGER SAYS CESC AND NASRI ARE ABOUT TO LEAVE OMG," which isn't even remotely like what he said.

I wonder how much truth there ever was in it, if Cesc stays. The rumour initially seems to stem from Ballague's twitter.

Guilleme Ballbag was on Talkshite the other day doing his usual bollocks-touted-as-fact routine. I think he's where it all came from, yeah. So who knows.

I do actually want Nasri to go though because it makes no financial sense to keep him. No idea why we didn't do it sooner, unless City haven't put in a decent offer. So yeah as long as we can replace him with someone good I hope he goes, the KD Lang-faced scrote.

Where do all these Kd Lang comparisons come from? I can't believe the average Gooner has even heard of this Canadian crooner, let alone noted the slight similarities (full face, short dark hair) that exist.

Your biggest problem is Wegner still can't admit that he needs to buy some experience. He keeps going on about how youth will come good but 6 years without a trophey would suggest otherwise.

Do you think his time will come I you fail to win anything again this year?

The board will never, ever fire Wenger. If anything he will pick his successor when he finally tells them he has had enough.
