You guys could be in great shape if you win tonight. Please smash Spurs and make 'arry's face look more toad like.

Furthermore if you do win and Chelsea lose one game!!! It's still on is it not?!

Chelsea have a rather annoying habit at the moment of absolutely hammering teams when they are playing well and still winning when they aren't. Its difficult to see beyond them.

Yesterday was the most pressure Chelsea were under, following Man Utd. messing up, whilst playing against someone gritty and capable of taking a point from a match. They took 3.

It's theirs. Yay if we do win, but I think it is pretty safe to say we won't. Second is more possible, and that'd still be great.

Yeah, I think it's gone now.

The cross from Drogba for the goal was fucking amazing, did you see it?

It was a cross. Had it been an overhead backheeled volley on the turn which played a one two with himself and then hit a pigeon before dropping onto his knee so that it catapulted so high in the air that it knocked a helicopter off it's flight path; the ball hammering back towards earth as people screamed at the falling chopper - yet the downward thrust caused by the rotor blades to keep it aloft knocking just the Bolton players on their asses, for Drogba to bum the ball into the net....

Now THAT would have been quality.

Agreed about the Chelsea games but in the OT game, I thought we pretty much outplayed them and but for a freakish own goal and an RvP miss at point blank range would have gotten something from it.

Yeah fair point, I'd forgotten about the OT game. But yes, they sussed us after that.

There's still hope for us this season, either way i'll be happy with they way we have improved this season big time, remember that when we played Man utd and Chelsea we did so with arshavin up front and to be fair i feel that was a major factor in us losing, not so much the formation. We had no outlet and even at stamford bridge we created quite a few chances and played pretty well but the lack of striker was evident and it cost us. I'm not totally bothered about the 4-3-3 i think it suits more players for us than the 4-4-2 but at time you can see the team still aren't used to it, as in the defensive duties etc. I'm pretty happy with our squad all in all personally and bar eduardo (who i can't really judge yet) there's only vela who really disappointed me as he hasn't done anything this season and i reckon a loan would be the best thing for him.

Glad to see Van Persie is alive and well and i hope we smash them tonight.

Good goal, but Almunia's fault. What was the punch all about?

The punch wasn't bad at all. Good length.

2nd is now pushing it...
