My god. I don't know how we managed to spend the entire second half dancing through their area with the ball but still not managing to get a goal until Bendtner got that deflection. What a relief that was. I really hope he manages to continue his run of form. He's nowhere near as skillful as most of our attacking players, but if he keeps getting in the positions he does, that won't matter a damn.

Title challenge still on!

I can't believe I'm saying that. What a strange season it's been.

Was at the game today. Fuck me was there a lot of time wasting :quote:

Spent £80 quid on tickets to watch the hull keeper spending minutes at a time pondering his goal kicks and hull generally playing for throw ins for 90 minutes, total dogshit they deserve to go down. Sol Campbell is a total battler and is doing exactly what we needed him to do... had a great game. The Hull lot (including Mr Orange) was moaning about a Sol Campbell tackle in the second half but MOTD just confirmed it was totally fine so fuck you Phil Brown ;)

Went absolutely batshit mental went Bentner scored in the closing minutes. The importance of this result will be made apparent in the coming weeks, GO ON YOU GUNNERS!

For me, his association with Fat Sam, the way he sets his team up to play football, his ridiculous orange skin, the way he dresses, his matchday wireless microphone, his centre circle half time team talk last season and the fact that since Hull's great run when they entered the Premier League I've seen him a dozen times on various football shows loving his moment in the spotlight which leads me to believe he'll be doing his upmost to forge a career as pundit on our screens long after Hull go down and he's out of a real job.

Good work. I think you have covered everything there. I also find him hard to stomach. Hopefully we won't have to put up with him for much longer.

I can't get my head round Bendtner. At times it looks like he is doing his best to look like a donkey and then pops up with a crucial goal like that. Hope he keeps it up. He is good to have up there to get on the end of our sometimes over-elaborate tippy tappy stuff.

While I do agree that Campbell's tackle was passable (although he made sure he got the man and the ball), it does seem a bit odd you're stating MOTD pundits as the defining verdict on tackling when they all seemed united in the opinion Shawcross' hoof on Ramsey the other week was nothing to get worked up about.

Anyway, I find Brown perpetually sits on the fence between 'proper cunt' (Ferguson, Wenger, Benitez, Redknapp) and 'comedy cunt' (Warnock, Mourinho, Keane). I just can't decide.
