Walcott must be the worst full England international of all time. He's an embarrassment to the Club, the poor little lamb. Cole is owning him twelve ways from Tuesday.

The guy is hopeless. He's like Glen Helder but worse. Walcott is without doubt the most overrated player in the league. He can't do anything right and I'd be delighted if the club was to show him the door in the summer. Thing is, who would want him? He's SHITE!

I don't even know what tosay anymore. I agree with the people who have been saying that we've got unrealistic expectations after briefly being top of the league. Fact is we are a rung below chelsea and utd and have been for about 3-4 years now.

Bizarre in here, nobody at all thinks that Arsenal actually played really well today? At least compared to how they've been playing for about two months.

Almunia just watched that ball, fucking watched it! If that would have been on target he wouldn't have done anything! I wish he would just fuck off!

This is the best one. Hah. Yeah, Fucking Almunia, if he was two feet taller and could move at the speed of sound he could easily have reached that. What a fucking shit keeper.

OK, we get it, he's a weak link, but at least blame him for shit that's his fault. Christ.

As for getting rid of Wenger, suppose there's no money, right? Suppose that's the real reason he's not buying anyone. Do you not think that Wenger is the only person in the world you want in charge of your club? You think any other manager is going to consistently take them to the Champion's League on this budget?

So he goes. Enjoy your mid-table finishes. Maybe you'll get a League Cup semi-final to get excited about one year.

Fucking bizarre in here.

I am so angry about Clichy's lack of discipline today

He was our worst player again today, and cost us both goals (in conjunction with others).

Thing is though, we were so good in the second half that I'm a lot more positive than I was at half time or even after last week. It's just a shame that my missus can see what the problem is, but Wenger can't: "the difference is Cech and Drogba" and she's so right. If we had a decent keeper we we'd concede lots less and if we had a proper striker today we probably would've scored-you can't blame the players if Wenger picks a 4-6-0 formation.

And Theo needs games-he looked really shy on the ball and scared to take players on, whereas a year or two ago he was doing that for fun. Patience.

I'd love someone like Milner. Although we haven't got any money so we can forget about signings.

You keep saying this, but isn't there like papers and shit saying we actually do have money? Who's your sauce*, the Arsenal head chef?

*lol

Season is pretty much over. No way in hell we're going to win the CL. Just trying to wrap up third so we don't have to worry about qualifying for the CL group stage next season. Disappointing, frustrating day, but I didn't go in to todays game with any expectations, so I'm not as angry as I was last week.

Correct.

We do. Weekly.

Thing is though, we were so good in the second half

Chelsea, two goals up, sat back and let us run around in front of them. If we'd got one they'd have upped it and got a third. All that possession and no goals isn't a good performance. Chelsea have got us utterly sussed. They play us like a cheap piano. We've got no answer to their physicality and organisation. Same with United. All four games against Chelsea and United (well, not quite so much the first United game) have followed the same pattern. We've looked OK when they've let us. Then suddenly they score and kill the game.

Except that we was bossing the game before they were 2 up. I agree that they weren't pushing forward, but we looked good in possession and hustled well to get it back, but we never looked threatening.

I think teams are absolutely delighted to let us do that. Chelsea and United cruised past us in second gear, they blew us away in a few key moments and totally at will.

Watching the game I actually started to wonder if your players wage bonuses are entirely assist based. The moment Nasri was (almost) clean through on goal and contemplated passing to Walcott was borderline hilarious.

'Cept Arshavin. Anywhere near the net and he forgets there is a pass button. Which is fine when he's playing well, I guess, but...

I guess I was sadder about today than last week as we dominated for long periods and played pretty well, only to get beaten soundly. That's crushing.

Feeling quite sorry for Walcott at the moment. He thrives on confidence and it seems to have been surgically removed. He's an obvious talent and I reckon in 3 years he'll be a very useful player, but who can wait that long?

We didn't really dominate though - we never threatened to score. Chelsea knew that when we had the ball we posed little threat. They just soaked up what pressure there was with ease.

Strange as it sounds, I quite fancy us to beat Liverpool on Wednesday. Our team have been hammered over the last few weeks by the fans and press. I'd like to think that they will show some bottle and give us a performance on Wednesday.

Of course if Wenger plays 1 up front at home then forget about 3 points! As crap as he is, I'd be tempted to start with Bendtner up front with Arshavin. I'd stick Nasri on the left, Tomas on the right with Song & Cesc in the middle. I think this gives us the most balanced side.

+1

After going a goal behind we really had a go and the second goal was against the run of play (imo). After the previous weekend I thought we'd crumble at that early goal but there was none of it. Drogba said it was tough going in the second half and so I wonder how easy it actually was for them.

Its just the stupid mistakes which have cost us again. We needlessly gifted a goal almost from the off to a team who haven't lost at home since dot. Suicide really.

It was interesting seeing Wenger angry at the defence when what he is putting out clearly isn't working. Its not as though he doesn't have options. Taking into account how Clichy has been, maybe it would have been more solid to stick Sagna on the left and Gallas on the right, bringing in Campbell. Maybe bringing Eboue onto the right and Sagna left, or Vermaelan left with Campbell coming in. As we can see with Denilson and Almunia though, he will continue to play someone even when they are having a torrid time of it.

Blaming Almunia is madness for this particular game.

At least a point needed against 'Pool now to lessen the chances of getting dragged into the dogfight for 4th.

If we had a squad, sending Walcott on loan to the Championship would do him a world of good. But we can't. Because we don't.

I think we have a strong squad, especially in comparison to say, Liverpool or Villa. Its always bogged down with injuries though.

But they are always injured, so there is never enough cover. Certainly there isn't enough to send Walcott away.
