For me, at best your players were level with the ball; in that situation, the right delivery from Nani was always going to make its way to Rooney, regardless of wether Rooney's run was noticed. Your cover for Park's goal was even worse. It's weird that such a crucial portion of your game would be overlooked, especially seeing how great a lot of your play is.

you can see the difference a true striker makes, we've coped very well without one since van persie but surely this game shows that we need one now!! arshavin looks alot better now he's on the left but the damage has been done. And Almunia is shocking

I don't feel the ref has been that fair to us too much. Arshavin has had the shit kicked out of him today without much help from the ref but most of our problems are our own doing. I could harp on about our bad luck with injuries and how much we miss van persie but truth be told wenger should see how much we need a front man and tbh how much we need a good keeper as none of our keepers fill me with confidence. Game over, i won't go as far as to say the league is done and dusted but 2 home games against the big four 2 losses and 3goals conceded in each game, not great is it.

I didn't see any shape whatsoever from you today. As soon as we lose the ball, we form two banks and start to press. On the other hand, when we got it off you, we were running into thin air at times. You've got to have that platform to spring attacks off, that solidity. It's not a matter of money, it's a matter of drilling it into players in training, and setting them up right on the day. They just seem to do whatever they like; alarm bells should be ringing when Gallas, Vermaelen and Song are all in the final third.

I want some fucking belief today, guys.

I'm not entirely sure that is the problem. We've got belief - clearly the whole squad thinks that we've got some god given right to win every match by chaining together 137 passes together, leading all opposing teams to get confused and fall down so Almunia can wander up the pitch and slot the ball in the opposing net.

What we need is a plan b, and a willingness to use it. Look at the Stoke match - in the last five minutes we were playing exactly the same tactics as the first five, despite the fact we made three changes at once. We don't want to play nothing but long balls, we don't want to spend 90 minutes kicking people. What we do now is clearly better. But something other than passing it around like a pinball table and flapping as soon as we lose the ball.

I think you were slightly unlucky today to lose 3-1, but there's no question every last one of your flaws was exposed today. And despite some stunning recent performances where you've really been on your game, we knew what they all were at the start of the season, too. From Centre forward right down the spine to Almunia there's a lack of authority and physical presence to stop teams dominating you physically and taking you apart on the break. The need for a new goal keeper, centre back (not Campbell obvs), holding midfielder (Song's still young and can't hold the mantle all by himself) and centre forward are all glaringly obvious. But with them you really could be great.

I wonder if Wenger has finally lost patience with Almunia. I know United ripped us apart for their goals but it wasn't all one way and if their first hadn't gone in you never know. You can't gift United goals like that. And for the third he more or less pointed to where their fella should slot it. Embarrassing.

I think we were poor in quite a few areas and typically United had us sussed and made us pay. I've finally given up on Denilson and our two full backs have been poor all season. The shape of the team is all wrong, it's too wishy washy against quality like United. There doesn't seem to be a plan at all. Like I've said before, it's a wing and a prayer. Fabregas is way too good to be with us next season. I know he's only young but he deserves to be somewhere winning trophies.

Yesterday was one of the most painful experiences of supporting Arsenal. Last year Wenger fucked our season up by changing the team for the FA Cup and we went rapidly downhill after that - same this season! That idiot never ever learns! He's got us knocked out the cup on the basis that the players would be "ready" for a very big fortnight. The plan so far has spectacularly backfired already! Dropped points to Villa and an utter annihilation at home to Man United.

Don't let the score fool you, we should have conceded 6 at the very least. Rooney and his chums let us off by doing a Bendtner on more than one occasion. If there is any justice in this world, Almunia should never be allowed near the club again. He should take his stuff and fuck off. His play yesterday wasn't just bad, it was lazy. The way he fucked his kicking up time and time again was shameful. Those of us left in the stadium gasped in horror when he tapped the ball straight to a United player (Rooney I think). What a wanker. So yeah, Almunia, fuck off.

Gallas went forward on the attack after we went 1 down. Both times he went charging forward, lost possession and United just ran the other way and scored. He has no discipline and Cesc was too scared to tell him what to do. Clichy might as well not have been on the pitch for all the good he was doing. Nani just ran past him everytime like he wasn't there.

Denilson proved yet again that he is irrelevant. He couldn't look good on a football pitch if he was the only one standing on it. Arshavin has only had one good game all season, yet again he was lazy and didn't get involved. It didn't help that when he did have the ball there was no help, but he was wasteful.

Wenger rarely got off his arse to bark instructions at players, it was pathetic. After going 3-0 down there were no signs of any changes. And in his usual robotic fashion, he made some changes at the 70 min mark - when we are 3-0 down. Walcott is never going to make it as a decent footballer so I wasn't expecting much from him and he didn't disappoint.

I could go on, but I won't.

Really really depressing all round. Counter attacking football which cut through us like a knife - hey I can remember us doing that once upon a time. So naive. Ashavin so selfish but at least he had a good go at them at times.

I'm not one of those who clamour constantly for new signings but if we do nothing today it will be criminal. Maybe just a couple of loan signings - striker and DM.

I used to stand up for Denilson but at present he can't do a thing right.

And as for Almunia - FFS give Fabianski a decent run and if he doesn't cut it then ship both of them out in the summer.

And what has happened to Clichy? Gibbs really really unlucky with his injury - much better crosser of the ball.

Grim times (relatively speaking of course - most clubs would die to be in our position but it's just frustrating to watch).

Oh come on. The Chelsea game earlier in the season was way worse.

;)

Not at all, because just for a bit, it looked like we had learnt our lesson after getting bumholed 3-nil by a geniune title-winning team a few months ago. Yesterday proved that not only is this not true, but some of our players can't remember mistakes they made a few weeks back. That's right, Denilson I'm looking at you, ambling back as Rooney/Sidebe/Pensioner on a mobility scooter bombs past. And worst of all is ALMUNIA, THE STUPID FUCKING CUNT SHIT-BASTARD, JOKE OF A PLAYER ARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRFGHHHHoihywq;odh

I can't blame him for being selfish, although he might have played Nasri in early on. In terms of involvement I think it was his best game for ages, but there was no end product. Usually he gets one chance and scores, yesterday he had three or four and couldn't hit a barn door.

And what has happened to Clichy? Gibbs really really unlucky with his injury - much better crosser of the ball.

Gibbs must be our number one for next season. Clichy has gone backwards. His final ball is absolutely appalling, no threat whatsoever.
