From a Celtic supporter, hope tomorrow nights game is a cracker. Bought my ticket, heading down tomorrow to the mighty Parkhead! Prepare yourself for some awesome atmosphere and a good laugh! Are any of you making the trip up north of the border for this one?

I just got briefly nostalgic about Dennis Bergkamp. How we'd all have been completely chuffed we were playing Celtic as that meant he could definitely turn up to the away leg...

Denilson is criminally underrated by most Arsenal fans, it seems. He's deceptively effective: have you seen his stats for tackles won and passes completed? Not to mention the ability to pop up with the odd Everton screamer. He lacks a bit of tenacity and physical presence, but beyond that I don't know what else you could ask from a central midfielder.

When is the ACN? Could Wenger maybe bring someone in in January as cover for Song, or is it before the window? I agree he'd be a big loss -- he's improved so much since this time last year.

Re: pace -- Walcott not fast enough for you?! Eduardo and Arshavin ain't exactly slouches either when running with the ball.

Whilst statistically he looks good, numbers don't tell the whole story. I think most gooners would agree that he was overplayed last season. He's not physically ready for the demands Wenger was putting on him. In a season or two, I think he'll be mustard. Which will probably be when he fucks off to Spain or Italy.

I'd like to have made the trip, but I'm not taking a day or two off work for what is a CL qualifier. Had it been the CL proper I'd have seriously considered it.

I've been reading a fair few Celtic forums since the draw and nearly all the Celtic fans talk about the atmosphere and how it's going to "blow the Gooner players away". I think Celtic fans need to get over themselves a bit. Our lads have played in some of the biggest stadiums of the world against some of the best teams and we have done very well so I can't see what the Celtic fans are going on about to be honest.

Sure, it might be louder than the normal games, but it's hardly going to put our players off their game. Many of our players are internationals and have played at the very highest level so tonight shouldn't be any different.

I think Celtic will start off like Spurs do at WHL against us. I think they'll go flat out for 40-45 mins to try and make the home advantage count and by midway through the second half they'll run out of steam and hopefully we can take advantage. I think there isn't a team in the land that's as fit as Arsenal so I'm sure this will work to our advantage.

Whatever happens, it should be a cracking game. I will be very disappointed if we don't come away with a win. Having said that, a score draw wouldn't be a bad result, but we are playing Celtic not Barcelona, so a win is what I expect.

Yeah I agree you can't base a player's value solely on Opta stats. It's just the way some gooners go on about Denilson you'd think the guy was disabled or something.

You have to take it all with a pinch of salt though. Many of the Celtic fans are a bit delusional and expect an outright win. At the same time though, it seems kinda harsh to rule us out altogether, especially with the injury problems Arsenal has. You also have to look at your fans who are just as delusional and think it will be an easy game.

It will be an awesome atmosphere, but I doubt it will really affect the Arsenal players. If anything, I just hope it will raise Celtic's game.

I'm gutted that we have Celtic, not because I think they'll batter us or anything, more because I've always had a soft spot for them and their fans. It would have been much better to get them in the group or final stages but oh well. Here's hoping it's a good one either way!

Doubts over Denilson, Cesc and Sagna, apparently. Walcott and Djourou definitely out.

When you add Rosicky and Nasri to that too it's quite an incredible injury list just 1 game in.

The good news is we have the world class Diaby back.

I'm kind of dreading tonight, my Dad's a lifelong Celtic fan and along with PSV they're my 'other' team (I've been to Parkhead nearly as many times as Highbury/Emirates.) Obviously want the Arse to go through but don't want Celtic humiliated either, they're a great team with some of the best fans in the world.

Two goals you could call lucky and we got away with a handball from big nick.

Still, very pleased with that result.

Second goal wasn't lucky but came about through good play.

Handball - not really for me.

Thought we were a bit sloppy / laboured at times up front but the pressing is much improved. As for Vermaelan :eyebrows:

Hermmm.

Here's a cheeky question (make that 2); decided that I couldn't justify the £60 train ticket to today's game, but apparently every seat at The Grove has a free scarf.

1. Is it the same scarf as was in the members pack this year?

2. If not, does anyone want to 'sell' me theirs?
