Celtic it is then.

Not the worse draw at all.

Should be fun.

They will go all out for a win up there as their chances of getting something at the Emirate will be slim. We can easily get a result in Scotland though, which we must do. Getting a draw up there is no bloody good.

Has everyone died?

So, same old story then.

I know AW has to bust our balls before he actually signs anyone (I haven't given up hope yet), but this is ridiculous. I wonder if he's been told he must wait to make sure we beat Celtic and qualify for the CL group stages before any of the Citeh money will be available for players.

There's been so much talk about this Chamakh dude when it's so obvious we need a DCM and a CB.

Let's hope there's some truth in these Hangeland rumours, and is Diarra from Real still alive? Has he recovered from the injury he had? He could be good. Or maybe Blaise Matuidi from St Etienne could be good.

And then, maybe this Chamakh wouldn't be such a bad idea if Wenger really wants to buy a striker.

No, but I did dislocate my kneecap which put me in bed for the past few days off my nut on pain killers.

It seems Wenger might be thinking what we have is good enough given our move to 4 3 3 - which I think is insane.

Even if Song is good enough to be the DMF we're all crying out for he does fuck of to ACN so who'll step up then? Also, we have no depth in our choice of CB.

I don't think any of the names we've been linked with our actual targets, save for chamakh but that seems off now. It's annoying that the closet we've come to signing anyone is a forward and not a CB or DMF.

We just have to sit and wait while Wenger tortures us.

I'm still strangely optimistic about the upcoming season.

What about Vermaelen?

I bet this is what's happening. Wenger stated he wouldn't sign anyone before the start of the season, but I think he will sign someone close to the transfer deadline. Whether that's a defender or a striker remains to be seem!

Ferguson and Ancelotti have also gone on record saying they won't sign anyone else before deadline day. But are we really to believe that three of the top four are not going to sign any players if they become available? Bollocks.

If Senderos goes, Arsenal will obviously sign another CB at the very least.

You gotta laugh really.

Thomas Vermaelen is set to make his full debut at Everton on Saturday, however Arsène Wenger still has a number of injury concerns going into the opening match of the Premier League campaign.
That is the upside of the injury news. The downside is that Wenger could be without as many as six players for Saturday evening’s match. Tomas Rosicky (hamstring) and Samir Nasri (broken leg) were already sidelined before the manager spoke to Arsenal TV Online on Thursday afternoon. However, in that interview, the Frenchman ruled out Theo Walcott (back), Johan Djourou (knee) and Lukasz Fabianski (knee) from the trip to Goodison Park, while Abou Diaby (groin) is classed as a doubt.
