I'm really glad that transfer didn't come off (for Liverpool's sake), but I didn't see any detail about the £200,000. Was that transfer fee, wages or something else, do you know?

Liverpool probably wanted paypal gift...

I think the best arsenal blog is gunnerblog. Someone else in this thread said it was entertaining and informative and I agree.

He also called Clichy being out for the season ages ago. I do think he has a bit of inside info but is quite negative and anti-Wenger. But then again who isn't at the moment.

I think it may have been me who said that about gunnerblog. He just gives you good clean info. And points you in the direction of the source. Arseblog is a bit too keen to tell you how drunk he is.

He fucking is. Myles Palmer is a massive twat who likes to create this air of being "on the inside" which he patently fucking isn't.

Arseblogger, whether you agree with him or not, presents his blog as opinion. Palmer posts utter rubbish presented as fact. Some of the stuff he has written in the past is fucking laughable - made all the worse with that embarassing bold all the key sentences shit he does.

I seem to remember him saying something like "Henry is a fast winger, and not a lot else. Mark my words, he will never be a goalscoring striker in the English Premiership". Nice one Myles.

He's a cunt. His blog's shit. Just because he wrote a (rubbish) autobiography about Wenger (which bombed) he thinks he is some kind of Arsenal oracle - which he isn't. He reminds me of Ron Atkinson when he was a pundit and he used to make up ridiculous, utterly wrong points just to be different and to suggest that his understanding of the game was just so deep that no one else could be pick up on the subtle nuances which were so clear to his wise old eyes. Cunt.

Between Arseblog, A Cultured Left Foot and Gunnerblog I think you are getting the best of the Arsenal blogs.

Incidentally, did anyone else think the guy from France Football on last friday's Arsecast was absolutely amazing. Loved his chat. Loved it.

Have to say, I totally agree with Carlito on this. ANR is a shower of shit these days, a desperate attempt at trying to get in on the inside by writing as if he already is.

Despite reading Arseblog daily, I've never really listened to the Arsecast, most because his voice is so odd. Is worth the effort then?

Yeah most of the time. I mainly listen to it for the phone chats he has. The guys from ACL/Gunnerblog/Goodplaya are always good, as is Amy Laurence from the Guardian. That guy Phillipe Auclair from last week was really great though - have a listen. He said some interesting things about a possible change in Wenger's transfer policy after witnessing the crushing gulf of quality in the UCL midweek game.

The comedy bits are sometimes funny, sometimes not so funny.

It's just a nice saturday morning routine for me. I listen to it when I am pottering round the kitchen making tea/breakfast.

This is priceless :) .

It's simply not a team capable of winning anything. The players just aren't switched on, they're not champions. I want them fucking snarling and biting in the tackle, shouting and driving each other forward. Instead we get an old pals act before the game and a halfhearted attitude on the pitch. The mindset is all wrong at the Club, we need a major overhaul because it's going downhill fast.

Oh, and Diaby is a complete liability.

Anyway, yeah, we're 2-0 down, but actually were playing really well up until they scored, and even then OK until they got a second. We've had masses of chances to score. Whether it's just Chelsea being shit, I dunno, but this team isn't far behind them on this evidence, they just lack the quality to finish a chance (as ever.)

It's hardly as bad as you all are making out.

Apart from Diaby, he's as bad.
