If Kroenke takes control this summer (very, very high chance) he might choose to install a new coach and give him some money. Or he might give Wenger a bit of a dressing down, give him some money and insist he uses it to improve the squad.

I think Kroenke taking over the club is a much better option than that greasy fat fuck. I also believe the majority of fans would be happy about it. Lets face it, an American owner hasn't done Man United & Villa any harm!!!

Absolutely 100% agree with prefering Kroenke to Jabba. As long as he doesn't do a fast one and borrow loads of money and pass the debt over to us to repay ala Glazer/Hicks&Gillett. Although perhaps those days have passed (borrow cheaply etc.)

I think he may actually take over this summer too. The board seems to be clearing the way for him plus surely Gazidis is his man.

Will be an interesting discussion if he asks Wenger how much he wants to win the league and Wenger replies that he wants £1m for this French 16 year old.

And he replies 'We appreciate everything you've done..', holds his hand out and opens the door.

£1m for to build a time-machine and go and buy a 16-year-old Arsene Wenger to play in midfield...

I mentioned it a few months ago, but rumours from inside the club are that Wenger's successor will be Dennis Bergkamp with Steve Bould as his number 2. It's always a danger bringing back a former hero as boss, but if other Dutch greats like van Basten, Rijkaard & Cruyff can go on to be top class coaches, I see no reason why Dennis couldn't.

How will that work with European away games? If he travels by land, he will miss out on valuable prep time with the team.

Nah he would never sack Wenger right after taking over. Would rock the boat too much and Kroenke doesn't seems like that type (from what little I have read about him). I think he will make it clear that we are expected to challenge and that anything less is not acceptable, and he will back him with the funds needed to do it.

Wenger is destined to move "upstairs" anyway. Honestly despite the last few years of fuck all I would never want him sacked. The man has revolutionised our club. Now if he could just find his way to winning some fucking trophies again that would be great. But again, not making excuses, but I really believe we do not know the full story of the finances.

An Arsenal fan hung himself following his team's 4-1 aggregate drubbing by arch-rivals Manchester United in the Champions League semi-final, police said.

Suleiman Alphonso Omondi, a 29-year-old Kenyan living in the capital Nairobi's Embakasi neighbourhood, hanged himself in his Arsenal shirt after the match.

"We were watching the match at Bamba 70 pub, and when Arsenal was defeated, Suleiman just walked out in protest and he was crying," Calvin Otieno, one of his friends, said.

"We didn't know he was going to hang himself until this morning when we received the reports and came here to find his body at the balcony," Otieno said outside the deceased's home.

You guys are truely mental man! Of course money needs to be spent, but the manager you all once worshipped and certain players like Fabregas who every single Arsenal fan I know was touting as the best midfielder in the world not that long ago, need to go? Jesus that's some fickle shit. You have lost Rosicky, Fabregas for most of the season and Gallas (well he lost his marbles) your three most experienced and influential players, as well as other important ones. And you're 4th? You need to sit back and look at the bigger picture here. IF the areas that need to be strengthened are completely over-looked in the summer, then yeah Wenger needs a slap. As of now you have a team on the cusp. Adebayor should be sold, never been a fan of his. A proven striker, defence minded midfielder (although I've seen from Song this season that he is more than capable of filling that role), cover for CB and a very good keeper it's what's needed. Arsenal's academy is what makes Arsenal, and Wenger has proven time and again that he can find a rough diamond and polish it up.

I would have loved Flamini playing last night, who wouldn't, but Helb?

I know alot of people couldn't stand his inability to shot, but Hleb really did pull players out of position which created space for our other players to move into. It was more that I just wish we had a settled midfield. I think that's been our main problem this year, I mean we went out last night with arguably our best midfield, and how many times have they actually played together?

I thought Nasri was very good last night. Well, he looked like he gave a f*ck.

Also, Adebayor has been all over the news sites today, the usual chat. To do that the day after that shower beggars belief. Try on the pitch, not in the press you F587%*&$%447^$(&^$(64!!

"How do I shot goal?"

Sorry.

:)

This talk about how if Fab left it wouldn't mater is mental. No player could really shine in the season we've just had. Save for Gallas really. So saying because he hasn't had the best season or hasn't turned up against big teams and as such should go - is unfair.

Yet again this summer we'll all go over and over what needs fixing. I pray to the baby g that something gets done this time round. Arshavin is the proof that going against his system can work.

These two paragraphs are contradictory, surely?

Why have we had the season we have just had? Becuase of the transfer policy and players made of balsa wood and glass? If Gallas can shine, why can't anyone else? Look at Lampard. He might be a fat git, but you can't fault his application. And it's application over skill that's got him anywhere.

As for going over what needs fixing, football is a game of opinions. It would be a dull thread if we all sat here and said Wenger's team, spot on. Wenger's transfers spot on. etc.

As for going against the sytem, eh? It's Wenger's system. He picks the team and the players. Who is meant to go against it?

EDIT: If anything, Arshavin shows the folly of relying on kids and the benfits of buying experienced pros. As does Gallas, who you say is the only player to have shined, then surely the only conclusion you can reach is that Wenger should go. If his system is wrong, why persevere with it?

You're all mental. Give Fabregas a decent defensive midfielder to play alongside and all Arsenal fans will be saying "he's back to being the best central midfielder in the world."

Edited for you bruv :)

Em, that was the point I was making.

Also, in no way was I saying we shouldn't be making points and questioning what's going on. I was making the point that everything we say will be the same as last summer and that's not a good thing. Somethings wrong at the club.

I don't think we disagree on anything really save for Fab not being any good.

Fabregas was great last season. But it seems he needs a very specific big nosed water carrier to play next to him. Get him back, problem solved! Losing Hleb has clearly made a difference as well. I know statistically he was poor, but he did an 'X' factor to the team.

Also why has Sagna gone shit?

Still, we've had worse seasons...

Agree 100% with you there. Just doesn't have to be Flamini, just a proper mad bastard DMF.

I'm with Phresh though, I think a new number two with some balls could do us the world of good and address all these fucking cancerous problems we have in the club.

I would be tempted to go back for Flamini, swallow the fee and put it down to experience. I think he'd have been the stand out midfielder last night.

And about Hleb, he did make us tick somehow. Making space, pulling teams around, picking a great pass (one out of ten isn't so bad). These are all things we can't do right now.

Still, there's always Arshavin. Until he gets fed up and Barca come in for him. We'll probably end up making a loss on him.
