There was a better moment, where Ronaldo lost the ball and dived to the ground, then immediately got up and threw a tantrum like a petulant child that he hadn't been given a free kick. Don't suppose anyone has a gif of that knocking about? I had tears streaming down my face it was so funny.

He was fouled, but kept the ball and a few steps later decided it was time to go down. Embarrassing really.

That was the one. The way he flung his arms in to the air in disgust and contorted his face in to what I can only imagine is a cross between him attempting to gurn and his cum face. Absolutely incredible.

1st off, this post was writen while drunk and after a heavy weekends drinking...so....

4th place is now guaranteed. If you think back to when Villa could have gone 8 points clear but fucked up we should be pleased - when looking at things relative to this season.

All I think we need is a decent CB for next season. And, maybe, a DMF as well as I don't think we can put all our hopes on Song doing a Flamini. And even he does, because he's an Arsenal player, he will get injured. We'll need cover.

Anyway, let's all have an Arshavin love in! 6 goals and 8 assists is one hell of a return all things considered (amount of games played, new league, new team). Imagine if he had gone to sp*rs? Christ, that would have been horrible.

With Vela likely to make that last step to pushing for the first team on a regular next season, it may well be time for Theo to lead the line.

--------------------Almunia

Sagna-------Toure-------Gallas-------Clichy

---------------------Song

-----------Fabregas------Nasri

Van Persie/---------------------------Arshavin

Vela

---------------------Wallcott

Who would you have out and who IN, if you could get them?

No, we need to ditch this 4-5-1 bullshit.

Almunia

Sagna - Toure - Gallas - Clichy

Arshavin - Song - Cesc - Walcott

Eduardo - Van Persie

I look at it more as a 4-3-3, but reverting to a 5 man midfield when out of possession

I was thinking about this for tonight. Nasri wide right, van Persie wide left and Theo up top with Adebayor or Bendtner. It's imperative that we get in behind them cos if they sit deep and we're forced to play in front of them then forget it.

Yes, let's put Theo up top for a huge match when he's been playing on the wing all season.
Or play Theo on the wing and Adebayor up front and create nothing again.

He's played Bendtner on the left before. He's played Cesc more or less up front and Nasri in a holding role. Walcott up front, considering Wenger thinks he'll end up in that exact position, isn't a great leap of imagination.

Wenger promised us a victory, so we could play Aliadiere in all eleven positions and still win.

He's certainly talking a good game :( . I just hope the likes of Adebayor and van Persie have the inclination to give us a massive game and Walcott goes into it feeling confident. If we fire on all cylinders we can win but if we're carrying one or two then we'll struggle.

He needs to be played in his proper position.

Madrid? Hoho!

Good luck tonight guys hope you give em a good game and win.

I don't think tonight is the time to experiment with anything new, and pretty sure AW won't be trying anything new tonight.

The way I see it is, we need to go at them from the 1st minute, not go mad though 'cos conceeding would be a disaster, just put the pressure on and not let them settle and get too comfortable. We should look to score in the 1st half ideally, within the hour even then it's game on.

probale line up?

Almunia

Sagna - Toure - Silvestre if fit/Djourou - Gibbs

Walcott - Cesc - Song - Nasri

RVP - Adebayor

or in a 4-5-1 / 4-2-3-1

-------Cesc/Nasri - Song

Walcott - Nasri/Cesc - RVP

----Ade----

You never quite know which way AW will go, he might even suprise us and go with a 4-4-2 but with Diaby (please no) instead of Nasri?

Whatever line up/formation we start with, none of it will make any difference unless our big players turn up.

Having had a job interview today and (successfully) got that out of the way,now is the time to get nervous. Fuck it,i'm going for 2 nil to us. I'd say 3-1 but not sure we've got the balls to avoid conceding in such a big match.

RVP and Ade up front for me-as Sean says, now is not the time to muck about and try something new. 442,Nasri left,Theo right,Song and Cesc for me.
