Interesting line up from Gunnerblog

So there we have it - I have us lining up with Almunia in goal; Sagna, Toure, Djourou and Gibbs across the back four; Nasri and Song holding; then Walcott, Fabregas and Diaby playing behind Adebayor.

It’s not our strongest XI, but it’s certainly good enough to cause United problems.

Imagine Arshavin, Clichy & Gallas in that team, in place of Djourou, Gibbs and Diaby of course. Pretty good hey.

Quite hard to predict the line up/system tonight.

I wonder if Denilson and Song will play, or even if Eboue might get in ahead of Diaby.

Surely the back 5 picks itself (Gibbs ahead of Silvestre), Theo, Cesc, Song and Adebaoyor will play, Nasri will surely play in one role or another, that just leaves 1 spot between Denilson, Diaby or Eboue.

Interesting article actually

I'd have thought you would want Nasri in a more attacking role with Eboue/Denilson/Diaby alongside Song. He was excellent when we played you at the Emirates earlier in the season (although that was against Neville!).

You'd have thought that but Wenger is toying with Nasri playing deeper and Cesc more advanced. Totally the wrong way round IMO. I prefer Cesc picking it up deep and pulling the strings with Nasri a threat going up top.

Anyhow, left midfield will be whoever Wenger thinks will give Gibbs most cover and for me I'd choose Denilson. I know a lot of you don't rate him but I think he'd be more reliable than Diaby and Song is obv. preferred in the middle.

I'm also very scared.

On top of that I can't go out to watch the match so I'll have to endure the match with my family - Who are all Man Utd supports. On top of that, my old man is like an older, Irish version of Mr. Do.

Please god, I hope we don't get stuffed.

Well, I'm not scared, just nervous. You know when you have to do something that you're not so confident on doing, but at the same time excited? No? Well, that's what I'm feeling.

I kinda like it. But not that much.

I'm excited about the game tonight, scared excited though.

We could win 2-1 but then again we could lose 3-0.

I don't really want Diaby to play 'cos.............. well 'cos he's a bit shit.

I just hope Adebayor turns up, Cesc, Nasri, Theo and Song have a good game.

(wouldn't mind if the rest have a good game too but you know what I mean)

Arsenal team: Almunia, Sagna, Gibbs, Silvestre, Toure, Diaby, Song, Fabregas, Nasri, Walcott, Adebayor.

Subs: Fabianski, Eduardo, Denilson, Ramsey, Djourou, Bendtner, Eboue.

Teves starts for Utd. That could be bad, he was the difference for them against Spurs.

Also, agent Silvestre starts...

First reaction, upon looking at both line ups, there's not much to choose. Obv. we're suffering with injuries but if we had Gallas and Clichy I think I'd be quite excited. As it stands though it's on the night and our defence will probably decide it one way or another.

Enjoy it lads. Same to any United who accidentally stumble in here :( .
