It's hard to think that this team, before this match, had let in the fewest goals of all premiership teams in 2009.

Anyway, I fear how we will fair against Man Utd without Arshavin and with this defence.

Amazing, amazing game. I still feel a bit disappointed that at 3-4 we could secure all three points, but a draw was a fair result. Is Arshavin the only arsenal player would could have done that for us, maybe a fit Eduardo could have? Song was pretty awesome, although he looked knackered by the end.

Now imagine if we'd of had our proper defence and first choice keeper, Nasri on the left, Walcott on the right and Song and Fabregas in the middle then left with Arshavin playing behind Eduardo! (fuck Adebayor, not a fan of his)

Things I learnt tonight:

Arshavin is incredible. We have our superstar, our main man, our Ronaldo, our Torres. When fit he must play. Would have been nice to see him on Saturday Wenger.

Our defence is terrible. The dealing with long balls problem identified last summer has still not been fixed. Some organisation and someone who can head the ball is still desperately needed. Fix it before next season Wenger or fail to challenge again.

We need a goalie. If we are going to challenge Fabianski and Almunia are not quite good enough. Let's face it. We have the weakest goalie of the top four teams.

Song yes. Denilson no.

Hard to be too down after seeing The Arshavin Show but after seeing us fail to hold a 4-3 injury time lead for the second time this season it is getting tiresome. I want to be entertained but I want to bloody win something.

If I was Arshavin, I'd be pissed at our defence.

If Gallas is sold on this summer, we desperately need another world class defender to replace him. We can't win anything with that kind of shambles at the back.

I can't believe I'm typing this, but at this moment in time Alex Song is by far the best central midfielder at the Club. Fabregas was fucking appalling last night, as was Denilson. And Diaby is a liability. Actually, I'd probably put Ramsey as the second best.

I'm also thinking of writing to Bendtner and asking him if he thinks he could possibly be any more lazy. He chased fuck all and he's got the touch of a rapist.

What's happened with Ramsey? Not seen him since the Cardiff game where he was dreadful.

Anyway well done last night lads, I watched it round an Arsenal mate's house and his wife asked me before kickoff if I was supporting Arsenal and I said yes, but that it was the first time in twenty years that I'd done so. Last time was Michael Thomas in '89.

Then the teams come out and Arsenal are in yellow :) when Arshavin's fourth went in I shouted MICHAEL THOMAS in a rather unnecessarily excited fashion.

But anyway, it's the first time I've sat down and watched you guys in ages and while most of it wasn't that pretty I thought that after Arshavin and Torres, Song was the best player on the pitch. It was like watching a far far less frustrating Mikel. One to watch methinks. Liking that Gibbs kid too, he did pretty well against us on Saturday too.

Oh and Bendtner was terrible, was screaming at him at times to close their defenders down. Torres/Kuyt/Benayoun spent most of the first half just charging at your back four when they had the ball, then the same happens at the other end and Bendtner just trots about like a twat. You're not good enough to look that lazy, old chum. Ship him out.

You really, really, really need to buy some defenders though. Quickly.

Agree with everything there other than the Almunia hate, I think he's been mainly outstanding this season and I'd have him over van der Sar or Cech.

Denilson always manages to be thoroughly anonymous and Bendtner was diabolically shit again. Instructive that Arshavin never passed to him last night despite him being in reasonable positions a few times. He'll be gone in summer I'm sure.
