Cesc definitely looks better 20 yards further back as a midfielder rather than the support striker role that he has played in the last couple of games

Yeah, exactly. I think he's been played out of position due to lack of fitness, I think he'll be back in his best position to run the game tonight. The only exception being if van Persie isn't fit, then we might see Theo, Song, Denilson and Nasri then Cesc and then Adebayor up top in a 4-1-1.

Diaby behind 2 of Eduardo/RVP/Adebayor could work well in a European game. Trying to keep possesion high up the pitch could take some pressure off the defence. Arseblog's theory about Sagna at LB & Eboue at RB is a good one & I expect to see Song playing close to the back 4 as well.

4-2-3-1, surely?

With such a weak back four, (Gibbs, really?) I think he'll go for more protection in front of them than normal at home.

Maybe. I think playing both Denilson and Song would offer more protection but maybe start us off on the back foot when we should maybe go for the kill. We shall see. I think Song is actually becoming an "decent" player there and prefer him to Denilson.

We're a better team than them, have better players, are at home & have the upper hand with the away goal. They are missing their best player. We aren't gonna get a better chance to kill a team off and have the game done and dusted by half time.

With players like Cesc, Nasri, Theo, RVP and Adebayor on the pitch, surely getting at them straight from the off and giving them no time to settle should be too much for them to handle.

You know I'm right though

No, I totally agree. I always think like that when we're all fit. Well, mostly all fit. Add Arshavin into the mix for the FA Cup and Prem and I think we're capable of going unbeaten from here on in. Not saying we will but if our top players perform we're still fucking class and can turn over anyone.

Mate, i've been watching this one and the commentary is awesome! When he scored he screamed GOOOAAAALLL for about 3 minutes.

Incredible.

You know even if he invited you out for a drink he'd be like, 'Wanna come to the pub Double OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOAAAAAAAAAAAAALLLLLLLLLLL'. Those excitable Spaniards!
