We should have some decent attacking options back for the second leg, and one goal should really be enough.

I agree; he worked his balls off all game. He's clearly never going to be the difference between a draw and a win for us but he was industrious and gave us options. Should've scored though.

Let's not take anything away from us tonight-the back 4 were all superb and we played well as a team for once. We're looking strong and united, with the attacking options coming back, I fancy us for the second leg.

We were nowhere near as bad as I feared we'd be. For all the stick he gets (and rightly so) Eboue wasn't really Eboue tonight, well, not until he tried to score. That miss was spectacular. He still should never ever start a game for us though.

I would've liked a 2nd goal tonight and preferably one form open play. Would have made the game in two weeks a little less stressful.

Also, the fact Song gets his game for us drives me fucking mad.

I don't think we're doomed but I can't see where we're going. Wenger doesn't seem to have another style of play and is content to grind out scoreless draws against Sunderland or play like the away team in a home match. Overpaid kids? If Eboue and Bendy are getting a tenner a week they're overpaid.

Ah, but you're wrong! He has 2 styles: The amazing, slick, attractive passing game we used to play and this new insanely ineffectual stale incompetent style we seem to be using now.

Well quite, pay as you play (well) would be nice for those two, but it was refreshing to see Eboue at least look he wanted to be involved. To be honest, I think he's bucked his ideas up since that Wigan game, but as said, he shouldn't be starting.
