Anyone going Saturday?

Arshavin Time!!

Ah yes. I'll be there. Exciting.

A friend of mine at work had Arsenal call him up today. He is on the normal season ticket waiting list and they called him up offering him a club level season ticket for next year. Oh boy...

According to today's BBC gossip...

If there was ever a rumour I wanted to be true, it's that one (two).

Would be great if it was true. However, I suspect this is nothing more than paper hype. Huntelaar is not a typical Wenger buy and although Adebayor going is more likely, I think he'll use Bendtner a straight replacement.

Get Arshavin on the pitch, Wenger. I can't wait :( .

Adebayor was returning from Nigeria last week when the man started hurling abuse at him.

Witnesses said the fan, in his 30s and claiming to be a London paramedic, accused the star of not pulling his weight.

Rilwan Adedapo, who saw the incident, told The Sun: “The guy started getting personal about how he should try harder.

“Ade tried to laugh it off. But the man started hurling abuse at him and used the F-word.

“He screamed ‘You get paid £80,000 a week to put the ball in the back of the net and you’re still f***ing rubbish. I pay good money for a season ticket to pay your wages.’

“Emmanuel completely lost it and had a right go back. He said ‘I get £110,000 a week if you must know’. It just made the guy even more angry.

“If it wasn’t for security dragging him away, it could have got a lot worse.”

ZING!

Going to Arsenal is a waste of my time and money this season and I honestly don't know if I can be bothered to renew next season.

Football is meant to be entertainment. It's often the highlight of my week and after a hard 5 days at work I am meant to look forward to the game. I left the stadium this afternoon yet again feeling disgusted with the garbage I witnessed. It's embarrassing to have the likes of Denilson, Song & Bendtner starting every game as they are not Premier League quality. Clichy has turned shit, Sagna has turned shit, after a good couple of games van Persie has returned to being a lazy cunt (sell should sell this fucking wanker!) and Nasri yet again proved what an inept useless tosser he is.

It's a slur on Dennis for Wenger to claim van Persie is the next Bergkamp and if Sunderland had showed any ambition they would have won, comfortably.

We have major problems. If we hadn't collected a decent tally of points at the start of the season we'd barely be mid table. All the mugs leaving the stadium were chuffed to bits that Villa lost, but how does that benefit us when we don't close the gap? Everton are right up our arses and it wouldn't surprise me to see them leapfrog us if our current form continues.

Arsenal announced that season ticket prices are frozen for next season. We NEVER EVER announce prices until the last couple of weeks of the season so this is unprecedented. It's also very clever on their part as they are charging us the same amount for 19 league games and 7 cup games (which will be UEFA if we are lucky) so is that value for money? They should make UEFA cup games optional not mandatory. We are also about the only club who never gave fans money back from the VAT cut.

I'm depressed... :)

I was at the game today, I thought we were OK, but its clear that only Arshavin and Van Persie are currently the only good/bothered players we have. The lack of urgency was terrible especially after the Villa result.

However what really shocked me was the vast amount of fans leaving the game after 80minutes....I mean I have left a game with a few minutes to go myself when we have been losing, but it was 0-0 with 10 minutes plus injury time to go!! Not trying to have a go at the fans, but it does illustrate that perhaps the fans have had enough, rather than leaving early to catch trains.

I also noticed that despite the move to the Emirates and a much wider pitch, we still seem determined to play through the middle...its very depressing. I think Highbury had better fans, and we seemed to play more varied football on a much narrower pitch.

Fans leaving early is old news.

Although it does twat me off, people pay their money and it's their choice if they leave early. I always stay till the end.

The only time I have ever left early was in the Carling Cup semi against Wigan in 05-06 when after 29.30 mins of extra time campbell and senderos conspired to let Wigan score. And that was hardly early.

Plus, the public transport infrastructure can't cope with the extra 20,000. It could barely cope before.

I walk to Angel now rather than trying to get home via any nearer station. It takes me longer to get home to wapping than it did to St Albans. lol.

Arshavin looks class boys.

Agreed. Shame about the other 10 planks...

How long until Wenger takes his directness out of him though? Hleb used to go for goal until Wenger taught him the art of passing around the 18 yard box and the supreme skill of trying to make an impossible pass to a team mate who is no where near him when it's easier to roll the ball in the net.

I left before the final whistle yesterday for what I can only remember is the second time I have ever done that. Was very late, about three minutes into the 4 extra but I just don't care any more.

Quite interesting about announcing the ticket price freeze. They have never done it before the last game, as long as I have been going. Don't forget that the price of the Burnley game (our 8th home cup game this season) will be added to next year's. And if we get through any more home cup games will be added to next season.

Plus as said above if we are playing Uefa Cup instead of Champions league then it is hardly good value.
