Unbelievable  . He's looked well sharp, we've really missed him.

Bendtner getting involved. Should have had three but I'm relatively impressed. Maybe he'll take his chance while Adebayor is out. Nine goals now, not bad considering he seldom starts.

Vela finally kicks Eboue into touch, hopefully.

We're playing some lovely football again ;)

Looking good. You can sense the feel good factor. Much more positive with Nasri, Vela and Eduardo.

Good stuff tonight. We played great, scored 4 and Eduardo got a nice little brace.

I hope we can keep it up, playing decent football that is. Tonight was the best I've seen us play in a long time, even if Cardiff weren't at their best.

Eduardo looked great. You wouldn't have thought it was his first game back. Sharp, good passes and a brace. Really added an extra dimension up front.

Despite missing a sitter (twice) bendtner actually looked like he gave a shit last night, which was nice as well.

I felt after the subs that we lost a bit of oomph, odd that he didn't at least give Wilshere a run out, preferring Bischoff instead. Who looked very nervous.

Vela played really well. Fabianski was, erm, brave.

I have not seen so many police at Arsenal for a long time though. Bloody uncivilized welshies.

You should have been at the first game - it was bloody insane what those people were doing!

Regarding the game, yes we looked good but they gave us an awful lot of space and way too much respect - even Nasri & Bendtner were allowed to look good. We'll probably return to the normal shite on Saturday.

Very pleased for Eduardo though.

Well it wasn't really, was it? But awesome nonethelesss.

*sigh*

His first competitive game back for Arsenal, playing from the start and not appearing as sub in an international.

Better?

He's quite handy in the air for a little fella, isn't he? Vela's cross for the first was ace though.

Reserves too.

If I had a point it wasn't to be pedantic, but to say that he's been reintroduced so gently that it shouldn't be a surprise he is sharp, he's not just been shoved in and each bit of news has been a steady progression . An assist internationally, then this and hopefully a full premier league start soon.

It's fallen in a nice run of fixtures as well as being well managed too.

Last thought - the ground was pretty empty on Monday. Big chunks in the upper tier above the far goal from where I was sitting had 2 or 3 people in them. Lots of around the lower tier as well.

Yet attendance was announced as 57,000+.

Apparently, they count season ticket holders, even if they are not actually in attendance. The acutal bums on seats numbers could be far lower.

The empty corner was the away bit but you are right there is no way there was 57,000 there. They do count season ticket holders who don't attend. The end of this season club seats are up for renewal. :(

For silly money too. I'm sure I saw the cheapest set of seats were +£4k. I'm right in thinking that these are seats on a 3 year basis with ticket cost included for that price though? :)

Dear all,

Recently we have reopened our waiting list for our club level season tickets.

Traditionally we have kept the waiting list at 1000 people however due to the current climate we have decided to extend it to 2000 as we are expecting to have 1400 to 1500 tickets to become available for next season. The list is currently at about 1200 and the cost of joining the list is £50.00 which is redeemable of the price of the season ticket.

This is a rare opportunity to get a ticket for next season as the General admission waiting list is still at over 40,000 and is taking between 10 and 12 years.

Club Level Prices 2008/2009

Club Level Halfway Line - £4750

Club Level Midfield - £ 3600

Club Level Behind Goal - £ 3300

Club Level Corner - £2600

Kind regards

As far as I know that is for a Club level season ticket and is per season. When we moved in we were asking for people to pay three years up front. Not sure if we will get away with that this time around.

Yeah, I got that mail too, but mis-read it. The original club level tickets were for 3 years, these aren't.

Silly, silly money.

If only I could afford it :)

According to today's BBC gossip...

Barcelona are ready to launch a £20m bid for Arsenal striker Emmanuel Adebayor in the summer. (Daily Star)

If Adebayor does leave then Gunners boss Arsene Wenger will look to replace him with Real Madrid striker Klaas-Jan Huntelaar, 25, as the Dutchman has failed to settle in Spain since his £17m move from Ajax in January. (Daily Mirror)

If there was ever a rumour I wanted to be true, it's that one (two).
