I know we're missing players blah dee blah, and I know I said we could still win the league. Heart ruling the head on that one, apologies all round.

But that was pathetic. Diaby, Denilson, Song, Eboue. And Arsene is happy with that? And the Club is happy with that? Someone name me a worse player in the division than Song, he's utterly pathetic in every single facet of the game.

AS I TYPE, ONE EACH ;) .

Makes no difference. Fucking awful. The question on everyone's lips.. Has Arsene lost it? You tell me? I think he has.

As far as I'm concerned we won't win anything again until we seriously rethink what the fuck is going on at this club. It feels like calling your Dad a cunt, but it's as clear as the nose on my face that Wenger has lost the plot. He's an Arsenal man through and through, but even so would he feel the need to tow the company line the whole time? All we need is some honesty. Just hold your hands up and say that level of performance isn't good enough. If he seriously thinks that this squad is capable of winning anything he's completely deluded. Yes we have injuries. So does every other team. I'm sick and tired of the same pile of shit rhetoric every week. He has a couple of days to transform the worst crop of players he's ever had into something resembling an organised unit again or he may as well not bother. Good luck with that!

I said a few months ago that Bergkamp is being lined up to replace Wenger in the next 2-3 years and Wenger will "go upstairs". If things carry on like this, then they need to advance this plan and let Dennis build his own team. As it stands, we are going nowhere fast!

And if the club was serious about competing, why haven't we signed a proper goalie? Shay Given was there for the taking and the Bolton goalie would have done us and wouldn't have cost much. A good goalie gets you at least 10 points a season. Almunia costs us at least that.

Oh fuck off. Do you honestly believe he's our biggest problem? He's not cost us any more points than Reina/Cech have cost their teams this season. There's little he can do with so much incompetence ahead of him.

We need a defence. And 10 more Van Persies

I have to agree with tkk there. While Almunia isn't a goalkeeper that saves you ten points a season (not yet anyway) he in no way has cost us at least ten points this season or last.

Our centre backs are a joke and the fact Clichy and Sagna have lost the form they had last season is hurting us real bad. There also seems to be some sort of coaching problem, defense wise, in the club - as everyone in here has already said. Also, something that no-one has mentioned yet, we need a DMF. On top of this Ade has no form and Bendtner is Bendtner.

Fix that and then we can re-examine the Almunia situation.

Also, as has been said, Wenger needs to stop this bullshit where he fixates on the insanely tenuous positives in games. We need, at the least, some honesty. I don't care if it's a case where by he says one thing in public but believes\says another in private - that approach to interviews and press conferences has to go.

Sick as a parrot despite the last minute goal (great strike btw).

We should have got Palacios, but seeing as he is gone now, I think Veloso would be perfect. However the likelyhood is we will sign no-one this transfer window.

I actually now think Villa will finish above us, whether it be 3rd or 4th...and they deserve to

I'm pretty happy with Djourou, I've always liked him. He does need a good partner though, and although we have a couple coming through, as always it's not the answer today.

I think Veloso would be perfect.

Bolton want him. Bolton. Bolton are more ambitious than us.

We all said a couple of weeks back that Nasri in the middle and Vela on the left could rescue the season. I'm not sure who was on the bench last night but I can't believe Wenger persists with Eboue and Song when they are in no way good enough. It's embarrassing having them at the Club. Read some gossip this morning that QPR might bid £2m for Johnson from Man City. Someone tell me how that could be a worse option for us than Song? I'd rather play Toure than Song. And speaking of Toure, has a swap with Micah Richards not occurred to anyone?

He has no authority over the defence and the defence have no faith in him. He rarely calls for a ball leading to a host of defensive mix-ups, his positioning is dodgy and he has let is some very silly goals. I never said he’s our biggest problem, but he is a problem that should have been addressed when we let Jens go. The fact is that we are using our iffy back-up keeper as our first choice for two seasons defies belief.

We don't need 10 RVP's. He occationally turns it on, but is an extremly lazy player, but not in the same catagory as Bendtner thankfully! We have problems scoring and we are letting too many in so that tells us we need some steel at the back, a replacement for Flamini and some firepower up front. Chances of this happening this month are slim. Regarding Arshavin, I don't care if he comes or not. Arseblog summed up the fiasco quite well:

One of the other issues is, apparently, that Arshavin's current salary is paid net, whereas he'd be liable to pay a lot more tax on his earnings in England. So compromise is the key here and if Arshavin really wants to leave Zenit and really play for Arsenal then he's going to have to accept that he's moving to a football club and not some magical land with money trees out the back for him to pick £50 notes off.

There does appear to be some urgency now with Zenit saying that in order for work permit papers to be issued in time there would have to be a full agreement by 2pm today. Now it's all down to Arshavin, it seems. To be honest I'm completely ambivalent towards the transfer now. If he signs, good. He'll offer something a bit different to the team. If he doesn't it's hardly the end of the world.

Agreed, I have zero enthusiasm for the deal. I think he's a greedy cunt and I also wonder why we're the only Club in for him. Where are the likes of Man City and Spurs? Plus, we need someone like Veloso or another mobile ball winner plus there's all kinds of other fucking rubbish like me not trusting the Club or manager and feeling pissed off and angry etc THANKS FUCKING ARSENAL  .

The media has portrayed him as some sort of mercenary which worries me. If he comes to Arsenal, I have a feeling he'll be another Rebrov. Russian/Ukrainian strikers rarely do well in England or anywhere else. Shevchenko is the exception to the rule as he has been fantastic in Serie A, but all the other big name Russian strikers almost always flop. Considering how tight we are, £15m plus a £100k a week is a massive gamble when this money could have been spent on a midfielder and defenders.

Someone like Scot Parker would do a job for us and won't cost the earth.

There is no money. This is clear by how shambolic we have been in the market recently. I am not sure how we have managed to have the most expensive tickets in club football and have no money, maybe the stadium is a bigger drain than we thought.

If in years to come it comes out that Wenger was working with scraps and only money he generates to build a team he will be looked at as a hero for even doing this well.

4th is going to be a real stretch now. Villa just don't look like dropping loads of points and we do.
