I think this whole relentlessly bleak outlook needs to change, it's shit but it really isn't as bad as we seem to think. Blowing the current situation out of proportion servers no fucking purpose. I'm not calling for us all to start being totally unrealistic but poo pooing every little thing to the nth degree is fucking ridiculous.

Still agree with this? We're so bad it's untrue. Bendtner was absolutely abject. One of his worst performances ever and that is fucking saying something.

I'm a little underwhelmed after that game.

Didn't feel like we'd held the mighty Arsenal to a point - not a good performance by you guys and not a great performance by us either.

God knows what Ledley was doing in the last minute - I think Ridsdale was telling via telepathy to go for the replay rather than the win.

Put a bet on the draw to pay for the replay, but no sure I can be bothered with the hassle of going - bloody football - I'm sure we will get stuffed at the Emirates, but what if..........

I'd be gutted to lose him. He made his reputation on recovering after his and Dunne's mistakes admittedly but he's one of the few players we have that has the raw talent (physically, great tackler and header of the ball) to succeed at the very top. Plus he's not even 21 yet. He just needs his head sorted and a good coach. If Hughes can't see that then good luck to you guys, I honestly think he'd be an amazing signing in the long term for you, if Wenger can get into his head.

I'm not sure Arsenal is the team I'd go to if it's defensive coaching I need.

Arsenal/Cardiff vs. Burnley/West Brom

Arsenal vs. Burnley would be an interesting tie, for sure. If we're less inept against Cardiff next time.

To be fair to Ledley, how many times have conceded goals in injury time this season?

Also, I was in the same hotel as the Arsenal squad on Saturday night.

Drove 350 miles, ambushed by Cardiff fans, police escort all in the name of watching 11 lazy pricks waste my Sunday :( :( :(

Too annoyed to write anything more.

This post would be lulz if it wasn't so true. :(

We should be able to beat them in the replay though.

Apparently it got 'a bit naughty' at the end. Did you get a warm Cardiff welcome?

It was in the other corner from where I was. I couldn't really see what happened but the 7 million or so riot police that were there quickly put an end to it. I have never seen such a police presence.

It was fine really. We walked back to the city centre without any trouble.

You should see it when we play a team with a bad rep…

I can only imagine. I bet the Swansea game is fun.

Is that the new ground over the road? Looks a bit annonymous at the moment. Are they planning to Cardiff City it up or is it a dual use ground. There wasn't any CCFC stuff on it.

I remember going to Cardiff for the 2007 League cup final. We went down in my mate's car and they funnelled the Arsenal traffic through this scenic industrial estate. We drove past this scrap yard where a father and son, both proper carrot ginger, were welcoming us sophisticated metropolitans by grabbing their balls and giving each car the wanker sign as it went past.

The kid can't have been any more than seven years old. Tidy!

Yes, that's the new ground and it is a bit dull, like most new builds. Although CCFC own it, Cardiff Blues are paying a lot in rent so it's kept quite 'neutral' at the moment.

Where were you Steve? Did you have trouble in the ground or outside?

Outside. The Cardiff fans tried to ambush us leaving the ground. The police must have been expecting it as they were all in their riot gear (just as they were dressed inside the stadium). They stopped us moving anywhere as we would have just walked into the Cardiff fans who wanted some aggro.

There was a really tense 5 mins as the police tried to contain all their louts and then everyone just started walking again. Then about 2 mins later it all kicked off at the traffic lights at the bottom of the road our car park was on (the Cardiff fans wanted to get up the road and into the car park but the police did a pretty good job).

The last time I experienced anything like this was Wolves away. Same sort of scenario.... but the police had dogs and used them!

This could have all be avoided so easily. They should let the ground clear and then let us out once it was clear and frog matched us to the car park and walked with people who needed to get to the station.

Once the madness had cleared it took a while to get out of the car park and I managed to somehow get caught up in the coach convoy that was escorted to the M4. I had a police bike behind me and a police Range Rover in front of me as I was at the back of the convoy, went through all the red lights and safely onto the M4
