I agree. Eboue is not my favourite player but booing players is out of order. It's not as if he demanded more money, then demanded a move, then decided to stay when nobody wanted him and we offered him a new deal, then kissed the badge when he scored like we are some sort of mugs. Now that would be out of order.

Yeah but it's not like anyone would have the front to behave like that is it?

I thought his assists record was pretty crap last year? And don't even mention goals scored.

I agree that it would be great to see him do better (duh) but he just makes us look bad. I was hoping that le boss would coach it out of him but it doesn't seem to be working

Hopefully Theo/Sagna will be our first choice down the right this year.

According to Le Grove this is the CM we should buy.

Lorik Cana.

Never heard of him to be honest, but he's Captain of Marseille and he makes Roy Keane and Materazzi look like choir boys.

Someone might have to tell him that two footed tackles are not actually allowed. Doesn't seem to like goalkeepers much.

Some excellent tackles in there, but he looks insane.

I think we've been crying out for an enforcer. I also liked Chiellini from the other day, takes no prisoner. I'm not talking dirty, just hard and someone you don't fuck with. We've missed that since Vieira. He was the boss in 99% of games.

The last thing we need is a liability or discipline case but I'm sure the 74 two footed fouls in that video aren't wholly representative of his game :) . From the first shot of him huffing and puffing and looking up for it I thought he looked up our street. I'm thinking Flamini on a diet of raw steak. Bags of energy and someone to be wary of. The presence of this type of player could do us lots of favours, but of course he's only one name to be linked with us.

I love him already. We should sign him and make Eboue room with him, it'll be some Deer Hunter shit.

Reports emanating from Switzerland today suggest that Udinese midfielder Gökhan Inler is set to join Arsenal on a 4-year contract by next week.

and..

The bad news ahead of our Champions League qualifier against FC Twente next Wednesday is that both Samir Nasri and Abou Diaby have picked up a knock that will rule them out - and possibly out of the Premier League opener against West Brom a week tomorrow.

Fucking hell.

This Inler guy sounds like the right type of player. Not seen him play and I don't remember him from the Euro's but he sounds just what we need. Anything to avoid a repeat of last night.

"Senderos is...no he can't be can he? My God he is. He's in midfield!"

Anyone watching the Fabianski show? I mean our game against Seville. He's playing a blinder.

I know this is the kids and we are actually winning, but we are crying out for a CB and a CM.

Edit: They've just scored.

If we can see it surely Wenger can. I hate to say it but we will stuggle this season with this squad.

Yes. We're impressive all over the place apart from first team depth. Kolo and Gallas is a non starter and we need a central midfielder who's been there and done it.

Senderos kills me. He's got it all but how long can you wait?

Average age of starting 11 tonight was under 19.

Amazing scenes really.

We've all said it so many times that we badly need a CM, but we really do also need a CB. Hopefully Wenger can see it and he will do something about it before the window closes.

Since last August we've actually lost Diarra, Gilberto and Flamini and not replaced any of them. Surely surely we will buy a CM.

Wenger has said on a fair few occasions that we struggle with long balls into the box and we need a big fuck off CB (I don't think those were his exact words) so again a CB must surely be/should surely be on the shopping list.

Dreeeeammmmm.. Dream, dream, dream.

Can't see it mate.

I suppose it's very unlikely and to be honest no I can't see it. I do think we will buy a CM though, but being honest I can't see us buying a CB. It seems Wenger does think Toure and Gallas with Senderos, Djourou and Song as cover is good enough.

Come to think of it he probably thinks Cesc with Denilson or Diaby, and Ramsey and maybe Song for cover is good enough.

Not really good enough to challenge Utd and Chelsea.

:)

If only Wenger could see that he should just go and buy Vidic and Essien - simple really.

That's what you call dreaming.
