Arsenal

Agreed, he's been the epitome of what's wrong with Arsenal over the last couple of seasons. Tremendous ability but no end product, no killer instinct. His ability is confined to close ball control too, his passing range was poor and his shooting woeful. Weirdly every time I've been to watch Arsenal since he arrived he's scored, sadly I've only been four times over the last two seasons.

OK, so now we know who to blame for his form  . What's the opposite of a Jonah?

Why would we sign Alonso so that Liverpool could sign Barry, rather than just chasing Barry ourselves?

He'd be a far better Flamini than Alonso would.

And English.

Oh, that'll be why then.

We'd get Alonso for about £5m less probably, to fund Liverpool's move for Barry. That could be the clincher. Unfortunately. I'm not 100% set on either, TBH.

Barry would be a better fit IMO as he's more defensively sound than Alonso. Cesc's partner is going to need to be. £5m difference is nothing.

Agreed, except the £5m part. I mentioned it hypothetically but given our financial position I think it would swing the balance.

Alexander Hleb says he wants to 'win everything' with Barcelona after arriving in Spain to undergo a medical.

"I love this club" the Belarussian told the club's official website

The cunt never said anything like that at Arsenal, even when he signed for us!

Adebayor better hope Barcelona haven't finished their shopping for the summer, otherwise he'll end up looking like a mug as well as a cunt.

I have to say, even after all this I'll be relieved if he stays. Hopefully if he gets a bad reception he'll have the humility to realise he has to work even harder to make the fans love him again, rather than getting in a strop and not bothering. If he does stay and work at his game, it could be a massive season for him - he was great last season but the exciting thing is that he has room to improve. He could easily get more goals than last season if he improves his composure/decision making and gets a bit more clinical.

So Hleb has officially been unveiled as a barca player, i'm just glad it's finally over with. As for Alonso i wouldn't mind signing him i don't see barry coming to us esp as he has expressed his desire to join Liverpool and Alonso is a top player.

Surely that does not make him a cunt - if he had said it when he signed for arsenal then left like this he could then be called an unloyal cunt but as it stands its just a career move.

Bergkamp is no.2 in that top 50 list, which will make Henry no.1.

Can't argue too much with that I suppose even though I imagine loads of gooners would have them the other way around.

I'd have Bergkamp at number 1 for sure. He was the ultimate professional and the best player we've ever had.

Does the Arsenal website send anyone else's eyes funny? Whenever I've been reading something on there for a few mins and look at something else I feel like my eyes are going to explode! Whoever decided bright red as a background colour was a good idea?

I watched his Centurions DVD last night. Bonkers. Might as well be called '100 of the greatest goals ever scored anywhere'.

Anyway, anyone care to convince me we'll win anything this season? I can't see it.

I don't think we should give up yet, let's see who else Wenger buys first.

If we buy a CM and a CB and get this Adebayor shit resolved things could look very different in a month or so.

We definitely need a trophy this season though, we need to be in the title race right to the end and we need to have a proper good run in the CL.

Anything less will not really be good enough.

How we are actually gonna do this though, I'm not too sure. However there is someon who does know.

Send your letters to a Mr. A Wenger at this address and he'll explain the masterplan.

Hi-motherfucking-five. It's a bit early to be giving up hope seeing as we don't have all the facts yet.

Also, we still have our secret weapon...

Henry at being voted no.1 Arsenal player ever.

“Thanks to everyone who voted for me,” he said. “It’s always a true honour when something is voted for by the fans, especially Arsenal fans as they have many great players from their past to choose from.

“As you know, I loved my time at Arsenal and have many fantastic memories from my eight years there. It was an honour to play in the historic red and white of Arsenal especially at Highbury. I’ll always follow the team and what they do. I’ll always be a Gooner in my heart.

“And finally thanks to the fans for their support during my time at the club. They were right behind me and the team in good times and bad.”

Legend!
