More on that Nasri bloke.

I know we are all sick of this but I reckon it will happen as soon as the Euros are over for France.

Also, if he continues to be on the bench there's not much chance of his fee rising.

French agent Issa Traore is convinced Olympique Marseille attacking midfielder Samir Nasri will join Arsenal.

A deal for Nasri is yet to be closed by the Gunners, but Traore told Christian Recalcati's website: "Samir will go to Arsenal. Arsene Wenger is a great coach and as usual has proved clever in being able to sign the boy before his price rose further.

"He's a great player that Italian teams have allowed to escape."

What is "Christian Recalcati's website" though?

OK guys. No time to think on this one, gut reactions please..

Adebayor out, Villa and cash in. Yes or no?

Yes. I think Villa is more cynical & Adebayor towards the end of last season seemed to blame everyone when he either missed (too often) or they dared not to pass to him (shades of Henry)

£32 million is a ridiculous figure, probably no truth in the whole story anyway.

More than likely a rumour started by his agent to get him a pay rise at Arsenal.

I know he can be a frustrating player at times but he did score 30 goals last season and he does offer us something different to RVP, Eduardo, Theo and Bendtner.

I would definitely look to hold onto him as he can become/has become a very important part of our team.

As for Villa, I can't really see it happening as I don't think Wenger will buy a striker let alone pay £20 odd million for him. Nevertheless he looked very sharp the other night for Spain and it would be great to buy a player like that.

This re-signing of contracts thing is really fucking me off - why do players sign 3/4 year deals and then expect to re-sign 6/12 months later for more money? PHW was right - we need to take a stand otherwise the game will just go to shit.

I agree. I've had enough of greedy players, fuck them. Sagna had an outstanding first season and was rewarded with a new extended contract. But talking up a new contract when you are already on good money is just greed.

That report that came out recently put Arsenal only just behind Man Utd in wages paid, and we were both on about £90m per year. Chelsea were on something silly like £140m a year. Don't believe that Arsenal don't pay good money, we do to the right players.

Next season's Premier League fixtures are due to be released on Monday morning.

The first set of television dates are expected to be announced in July.

In addition, Arsenal will find out their opponents in the final qualifying round of the Champions League when the draw is made next month.

Well there's not much else going on is there?

Was pleased to hear about the Ramsey signing, made even sweeter by Man Utd's mishandling of it (Neville lol).

Also good to see the embrace between Henry and RvP after the game this evening, although the latter probably suffered a snapped wrist during the high 5.

MEDIA reports in France suggest Arsenal have already agreed a pre-contract with Marseille attacking midfielder Samir Nasri.

Reports had suggested that the Gunners could lose out in a mover for French international, with stories over the last few days suggesting Atletico Madrid were preparing to swoop for the the 20-year-old after Euro 2008.

But La Provence claim that while Spanish giants Atletico are ready to outbid the Gunners' £10 million offer, Nasri has already signed a pre-contract with Arsenal.

Fingers crossed.

I want David Villa in an Arsenal shirt. Chances of it happening? :)

Unlikely. I don't think Wenger wants a striker, he would cost too much and Wenger tries not to buy players off the back of a tournament (can give a false picture and inflate their value).

What exactly has he been doing at Valencia all year? Didn't they almost go down? He has been awesome so far in this tournament.

Valencia did have a shit season but he still did well, scoring 18 league goals in 26 games. Him only playing 26 games might have something to do with the fact that he got sent off twice.

Sign him up, he'll fit right in. :)

Fair enough. That is quite a decent record considering they had a stinker (10th as opposed to "nearly going down" as I said).

The papers reckon he wants to stay in Spain.

Anyway new season fixtures soon...
