Arseblog's definition of a cunt.

Cardiff's Aaron Ramsey will fly to Switzerland on Saturday to meet Arsene Wenger. We're one of a number of clubs who have had bids accepted for the midfielder but the smart money is on him joining United. You see, this all boils down to whether he's a cunt or not. If he joins United then we know that he's a cunt. If he joins us then he's not a cunt and is determined to join the fight against cunts. It's possibly the greatest method of discovering if someone's a cunt or not.

Example - Arsenal and United both wanted Charlie Nicholas. Charlie joined the Arsenal, therefore he's not a cunt. On the other hand Cristiano Ronaldo joined United and I hardly need to tell you how much of a cunt he is.

Reported here.

Milan are on the verge of being handed a place in next season’s Champions League as a replacement for Bulgarian side CSKA Sofia.

The Rossoneri missed out on a place in Europe’s premier club competition after they only finished fifth in Serie A, following a hugely disappointing campaign.

Carlo Ancelotti’s men, who have been the dominant side in the competition over the past six years, winning two editions, and reaching a final, semi-final and quarter-final, were gearing themselves to play in the UEFA Cup in 2008/09.

However the Diavoli could now be on the verge of being granted a sensational back-door entry back into the Champions League. Bulgarian champions CSKA Sofia could be expelled from the competition due to financial problems,

CSKA have been denied a license to play in the Bulgarian league, and the Bulgarian FA (BFU) has now demanded that they be expelled from Europe too.

The normal procedure is that the BFU send the runner-up Levski Sofia to the CL instead, however it is reported that instead of this, the highest UEFA ranked team not already in the competition will be the replacement, and this is Milan.

The Rossoneri would enter at the second preliminary round, and it would mean that Italy would have five teams in the Champions League, the others being Inter, Roma, Juventus and Fiorentina.

Could be a load of bobbins, but knowing UEFA, it would not surprise me if Milan got back in.

So it's not because of Porto, then. Any reason why Levski Sofia wouldn't be allowed entry?

I can't imagine many people care, but Gary Lewin is leaving Arsenal for England. A shame, that. Wasn't he credited with saving Eduardo's foot?

He's leaving?? He's a massive part of the club! Where did you read that?

Edit: Just read it on Arseblog

England want a full time physio for some reason. Not sure what he is going to do for three months between games but good luck to him.

We hired Norwich's physio a few weeks ago in preparation.

Arsenal have extended their physio team to improve treatment of injured players by hiring Neal Reynolds from Norwich City.

Arsenal sign Ramsey - according to the BBC

Nothing on Arsenal.com so not quite a done deal, even though there are a couple of quotes from Cardiff in there.

I'd like us to get him just to stick two fingers up at United  . Apparently, they sent Neville to see him on a meet and greet whereas we flew him to Switzerland on a private jet to see le Boss in person. To be honest, I wouldn't know him from Adam.

Brilliant bloke, good luck to him.

Carlos Vela: Arsenal Legend.

Carlos Vela is hoping compatriot Giovani Dos Santos enjoys his move to Tottenham Hotspur.

Dos Santos secured a switch to White Hart Lane last week after failing to establish himself in the Barcelona team.

In North London, he will be reunited with Vela after the pair played key roles in Mexico's Under 17 World Cup win in 2005.

Vela is on the books of Arsenal and is now free to make his debut for the club after securing a work permit following two seasons on loan in Spain.

The Gunners attacker is looking forward to meeting up with Dos Santos and feels his international colleague can be a success at White Hart Lane.

"I am happy for him," said Vela.

"I hope things go well for him at Tottenham, that he gets the minutes he wasn't given at Barcelona and that he shows what he can do.

"He is a very good player and let's hope he can then move on to a better team."
