I like those. Remind me of the old Sega/Dreamcast ones.

Are we doing a new away kit every season now?

We have done for years. New away kit becomes the 3rd kit for the next season. So the white strip from last season is now the 3rd choice.

"I wouldn't come in a Spurs strip" was the chant at the Amseterdam tournament last year when the qhite kit had just launched, yet it proved to be stupidly popular.

EDIT: Also what happens to last year's 3rd choice/europe strip then? That vile hooped thing.

Phased out most probably. It was only brought in to become the third kit so that it could carry the new sponsors logo. The logical third choice kit was carrying the previous sponsors logo and the club wouldn't remake the same kit with the new logo for commercial reasons or something (was it the gold strip?). I don't know, it gets confusing :)

The way I see it, Arsenal's first kit should be red, the away kit should always be yellow. But these days it will vary between blue, white and all sorts of other crap for commercial reasons.

The third kit had expired it's 2 seasons of use at the end of last season, we basically keep the shirts for two seasons, except this year we've got rid of the Hoops one after a single season and made the away the new 3rd shirt.

That image of the home shirt is still a photoshop at the moment, expect the official pics very shortly as it's due out around this time next month.

I don't know what to get on it next season. Got Adebayor on the home, V Persie on the away & Walcott on the third this year.

It's got to be the away kit with "Thomas" and 8.

It's up for grabs now...

Finally a signing. Sort of.

Bacary Sagna, the Arsenal defender, has signed an improved deal following an impressive debut season at the Emirates Stadium.

If Wenger can produce a couple more "unknown" players of his quality in the positions we need I will be very happy.

Wasn't the yellow kit the blue trim our away kit for two years?

It was at the final season at Highbury (O2 sponsors) and then the first year at emirates (fly emirates). Not sure we've always replaced away kits after a year...

It was Yellow with a sort of greyish colour and yeah we had it last season at Highbury then changed the sponsor for the season at the Emirates. As i said before, we normally use kits for 2 seasons, except sometimes like the Highbury shirt it's a one season.

Who?

Link?

Cristian Zapata was signed by Udinese on 9th of August 2005 from Deportivo Cali. He was born on September 30 1986 in Columbia. The 21 yr old is currently the captain of Serie A side Udinese. He wears number 2 and plays as a central defender. He weighs 84 kg and is 1.88m tall. He is sadid to be very athletic and rated as one of the best young defensive prospects in Europe.

Over three seasons he has made 86 appearances scoring two goals, picking up 20 yellow cards and one red. He has made four appearances in the UEFA cup, and two international appearances for his country. In his last appearance against France in the International warm up friendly for Euro 2008, where he gave away the penalty which enabled Ribery to score the winning goal after pulling the shirt of Thierry Henry.

Earlier this year he was quoted to be 70% certain that he would leave Udinese this summer.

Arsenal are believed to have made a bid of just below £10million - Five million pounds below Udinese’s valuation of 20 million euros (£15.8million). Udinese feel that they are in a strong position to hold out for a better price as Zapata has four-years left on his contract.

It was £20 last year for the Lite & £30 for the full (which included a pack)

Mine came yesterday though, gotta do it in the next few days. Didn't manage to get to as many games as i would have liked last season, but still managed to see some great games including the win against Spurs :o

As far back as I can remember, I always wanted to be a gangster an Arsenal player.

To me...

...being a gangster an Arsenal player was better than being president of the United States.

Even before I went to the cabstand for an after-school job...

...I knew I wanted to be a part of them.

It was there that I knew I belonged.

To me, it meant being somebody...

...in a neighborhood full of nobodies.

They weren't like anybody else.

They did whatever they wanted.

new membership forms arrived. £27 for early direct debit red membership, with the promise of more tickets available to us reds.

Yes there will be at least 1,500 tickets made available to red level members for all home matches next season including Manure and Chelski.

Just renewed my season ticket, I'm nearly £1300 poorer now

I haven't. Not an easy decision at all but it's done now.

Hopefully this means we will win the league on the final day of the season at home to the Mancs ;)

Personally I love the new away strip since it so reminscent of the addidas one from 89.

The new home kit is so so - got a flyer today with the full detail - the socks are white with a broad red band and the shorts have a blue trim (not shown in the picture above)

Van Persie is fit apparently, in full training and in with a shout of playing against Italy on Monday.

Don't hold your breath though.

"Get that thing away from me, last time I went near one of those I couldn't play for six months"
