Chelsea have got a piss-easy run-in to the title...

They have United at home, where I think United will get a point as their defence is capable of dealing with Drogba. Everton away is tricky, plus they don't do well away to Newcastle. Under Mourinho, I would say they are capable of doing it, but I'm still not sure under Grant they can win the next 7 games in a row.

Disappointing. I think we've been pushing it a bit though cos our squad is way too weak. Looks like third is a real possibility although anything is possible. We really need to buy some experience in the summer. On Sunday it dawned on me how much we've missed someone like Henry. I know we've moved on without him but when push comes to shove we haven't got anyone to take a game by the scruff of the neck in the final third. We still over play and we seem to be lacking any real pace. When the football is flowing the pace is naturally there but we haven't got anyone to run at defenders individually. United's squad, and Chelsea's, are much stronger and tougher mentally and physically.

I don't feel that negative cos we're still in it and of course decisions and injuries have gone against us but the youth 'experiment' is probably asking a bit much in terms of winning the Prem. The Champions League looks like a much more realistic goal just now especially when you consider the pitches and the way teams will set up against us. I think we've suffered in that respect more than anyone.

I'm still absolutely gutted about the weekend. It is SO clear that we need a proper winger. Not having a go at Diaby but he could do nothign on the left wing when he came on, expecially when Adebayor's positioning was quite poor. We needed the impact of Bendtner a lot earlier if we were to break down Terry et al with the type of passes we were trying. A lot of Cesc and Hleb's ground passing was poor as well.

Also, I would have liked to have seen Senderos play in that game. Toure hasn't been the smae since the ACON - I didn't know whether to laugh or cry when he was playing ON THE RIGHT FUCKING WING against Wigan. Phil had a good run in the team and played in some big games. I think he would have made a better attempt at stopping Drogba for the second goal, our defence was laughable.

I've been offered tickets to the Bolton game but can't make it due to family commitments. Whilst I always like to see Arsenal there is every possibility that it will be just as crushing as our previous games. Lets hope Ade and Bendtner step up because I can't see anything but that combo working against Bolton with the game plan that they're likely to try.

Arse :)

A genuine question that isn't meant as trolling though it may sound as such: has Hleb ever had a shot on goal for Arsenal? Every time I watch Arsenal he gets into good positions and always, always bottles it and looks for a pass.

Well he's scored 11 goals for them so yeah.

Have you not seen what Drogba has done to Senderos in the past?

Also Hleb has scored 4 goals this season, pretty poor for a guy who mainly plays behind the main striker. It's why Arsenal have struggled in the last month, with Ade not scoring none of the other players have taken the pressure from his shoulders.

I think you'd not notice Hleb and his apparent reluctance to shoot if we had players elsewhere who would have a shot. Unfortunately, we overplay all the time and Helb becomes just another player who doesn't score. In reality, of course, he's brilliant and makes the team tick but that doesn't really show statistically.

Outside of Hleb who always seems to have good games (but rarely shoots!) I thought Sagna was fucking brilliant. Looked dangerous almost every time he went forward and his header was superb.

Sagna has been brilliant all season. I mean, really brilliant. His brother dropped dead a few weeks ago. He missed one game but other than that you wouldn't know it had happened *.

EDIT: * Our right back, not his brother. Obviously ;) .

Sagna's been a great signing. Hleb too - he's very skilful but if you're going to have someone playing in behind a striker they need to be prepared to shoot right?

The problem is that you should be buying two or three Sagnas every summer but Wenger normally settles on just the one. Was reading somewhere yesterday that £70m was available to him either in the summer or January, I can't remember which - it's like he's terrified of spending money on a player.

McCarra in the Grauniad yesterday was saying that Arsenal make more out of the executive area of the Emirates on a matchday than they used to make in total at Highbury. That's fucking mental.

Sagna is injured and will be out for around 3-5 weeks.

This includes the Liverpool trilogy and the UTD game.

At this rate we'll do well to see him again this season (maybe in the CL final?).

I would play Eboue at RB and stick Walcott or Rosicky (if he ever recovers from being injured) on the wing.

Edit: wiener DOH!

Yeah, there's a man that could do with more defensive duties, I feel we don't see enough of his perfectly timed tackles

I quickly came to my senses though.

Toure's a good shout actually.

Senderos played well recently when called upon, so Gallas and Phil at CB with Toure at RB isn't so bad I suppose.

Yeah, Toure was my immediate thought. Season's gone to shit, can these injuries all be coincidence? I wonder if it's the type of player, the training or what. Granted, some injuries do just happen. And I'd have to offload Rosicky. Apparently he went with his national squad this week. Bet he doesn't play more than twice again this season for us. It's not good enough, regardless of whether it's his fault. We need bodies on the pitch.

At this rate we'll *only* have a pile of bodies on the pitch. Perhaps we could place our dead in the goal mouth? Might keep a few out, we must have got enough to fill it by now.

A 100% must win game and who have we got? Bolton, away ^_^ . I would think we'll have enough when push comes to shove cos they're not setting the world alight but the last five games have been a disaster, obviously, so nothing is certain. Bolton will love us going up there. I'd definitely stick Phil in the team.
