It's all exciting stuff, much rather have these massive games than not. Remember it is the 1/4 finals, no shit teams left.

I'm sure Liverpool aren't exactly looking forward to playing us 3 times in a week, and the Utd game is massive for them too.

In April we have the 1/4 finals and the semi finals (hopefully we are there, probably V Chelsea) plus Liverpool & Utd in the league, other than that just Derby and Reading, could have been worse. :D

This is the time where we find out if we are the real deal or not, bring it all on I say.

I still don't think we'll win anything at the mo, thrown away too many games

Here's a few things:

Robbed today. Ref was a fucking shambles. Not seen anything that was correct (save the sending off) and got in the way all the fucking time. Though we still played shite.

Adebeyor is a prick. Defend him all you want, but I've never been a fan and if he's our leading 'striker' now then we're fucked. RvP isn't gonna get 30 a year, but then he's not that sort of player. Adebeyor isn't gonna win us a title like Wright, Henry, Shearer, Van Nistelrooy or Cole/Yorke did.

From that, Wenger needs to spend some fucking money. World class keeper, world class striker and a world class winger. And give the fringe players more of a chance. We need creativity and a bit of grit. We need it from world class, established house-hold names that make the other team pay attention just because their name is on the team sheet.

Similarly, play Theo regularly instead of Eboue. Eboue is a cunt and gives us fuck all options in the box as his only thought is go down as the first opportunity. And I'd have Theo through the middle. But I'm not sure how that'd work in the team. Maybe up front. Who knows.

We need to stop deluding ourselves. Yes, the team is young, generally speaking. But we have plenty of older players and the whole 'lack of experience' thing is bullshit. If you can win in the San Siro, you can beat Wigan away, or Boro at home. No ifs, no excuses, it's a fact. And if you can lead a table like we have, you can win the league. It matters bollocks all if Ryan Giggs has won more trophies than our team combined; if you want to win the league, all you need to do is win every match. Simple as. We're not doing that now and there's no excuse for it.

Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.

Oh, and in response to the above; on his day, he's the best left back in the world imo.

The sending off was bullshit. Hardly even deserved a yellow.

Get bent four-eyes. It was barely a red maybe, but if that's not a yellow then the game's in more of a fucked up mess than it was the last time we had a sending off against us.

I hate the ref's in this country. For once, and probably the last time, I agree with Ronaldo-there is no protection for players in the English game. Hleb had a job done on him from 2 players tonight for 94 minutes. Poor fucker must be covered in bruises and why? Because he's better than some shitty Boro full back who doesn't know his shoelaces from his arsehole.

You are completely wrong in so many ways.

Mido's foot was high but there was no intent. It's a harsh red but a definite yellow.

Adebayor is not a prick, he's a superstar in the making. He's a prototype Drogba but in all honesty I think he'll end up a superior player to the Chelsea man. How an Arsenal fan can't see that Adebayor is an absolute weapon is beyond me. How many goals has he so far this season?

As for a world class keeper I hardly think Almunia has let you down. As for a world class striker you have a group of five very good forwards that has only been hampered by Eduardo's injury. Walcott will come good, mark my words. As for a world class winger you might have noticed that Rosicky is a member of your playing squad and when he and Hleb are both fit and playing they are as good as you'll find anywhere.

How an Arsenal fan can have a whinge like the above is unbelievable. The progress your team has made from last season to this season is incredible.

You're right, but I'd still argue that those signings are needed.

Rosicky has been great when he's played but with the amount he's been injured we can't really rely on him. Our first 11 is excellent but even one or two injuries makes us look so much weaker - Eboue's done okay on the right wing but has no composure and is unreliable with his fouling and diving. Walcott will probably be excellent in a couple more years but rarely looks comfortable on the right; he tends to lack composure and lose possession. Diaby is a good player but is not a left winger, which is where we've been forced to use him most frequently. So we could really use another quality winger to rotate with Rosicky and Hleb.

Adebayor is certainly a quality player - we would be out of the title race already if it wasn't for his goals - but he can be incredibly frustrating to watch. As well as he's done this season he's someone who often has me screaming at the TV with really basic mistakes; failing to see a good pass or getting caught offside unecessarily.

It's difficult to know what to do with the strikers - with Van Persie and Adebayor we have a quality starting pair, but van Persie has missed more than he's played the last two seasons so can we really expect him to stay fit next season? And knowing Eduardo is going to be out until at least halfway through the season, we'll be lacking depth there.
