Those have been floating around for a while. Good to see the traditional colours back for the away kit.

Also, according to Arseblog, RvP has been called up for another international friendly. FFS, I can see it now....

What about our Barcelona looking European shirt?

Possibly a 4th although i've heard it's not going to be used at all and was a one off special season shirt. They can get away with it as it wasn't a shirt for the premiership and it's actually a CUP shirt.

Rosicky looking like all your hopes and dreams. Unfortunately he looks like he's wearing his big brother's trousers.

As for next season's kits: do not want. Not enough sleeve action going on there. And I hope they bring back the barberpole socks soon. The kit's just not the same without it.

And a question for you guys: at any point (I think early- to mid-nineties), was there a purple and green ensemble? It might have been goalie wear, but I'm certain I saw it. JVC-era if thaty helps.

BBC:

Here is that rehearsal draw: Schalke v Chelsea, Liverpool v Fenerbahce, Barcelona v Man Utd, Arsenal v Roma. Let's not forget that we'll find out the semi-final pairings today as well and they'll also carry out the draw for the final. That means every team will know which dressing room they'll be in Moscow should they get to the final. Great.

Is that right?

Are they doing the draw for the semi's today?

Find out in a minute I guess.

Champions League quarter-final draw:

1 Arsenal v Liverpool

2 AS Roma v Man Utd

3 Schalke 04 v FC Barcelona

4 Fenerbahce v Chelsea

Champions League semi-final draw:

Arsenal/Liverpool v Fenerbahce/Chelsea

Schalke/Barcelona v AS Roma/Man Utd

Looks like we'll have to beat all the English clubs to win it

I posted this in the Football thread two days ago. I just fucking knew it. Pretty much the worst possible draw.

Arsenal have got Liverpool on the Saturday between the quarters and i'm sure we are going to get them and make it one of those silly things football throws up sometimes. Three times in a week it would be. I don't want to play an English team. Boring.

I don't think its the worst draw at all - Barcelona would have been a great trip but would in my opinion have seriously impacted our league form just as the glamour of Milan did. The players hate Chelsea so that would have been tricky .....and I'm always pleased to avoid ManUre.

Could have been better, could have been worse.

Got to outwit Rafa now and keep Torres quite. Doable.

Liverpool chief exec Rick Parry says he's disappointed with the draw - especially as it means his club will face Arsenal three times in a week with a league match sandwiched in between the two legs of the quarter-finals.

Sums it up pretty much, imagine if we beat them in all 3 games...
