I echo what the boys said up there about Clichy. He'll learn from that.

Adebayor more or less 10/10. Brilliant. Really amazing player.

Eduardo, anyone think of a better finisher in the game right now?

Silly Elano, at least foul him properly. And he misses the United game now.

Might be OK for you actually, put in someone more team minded against United. A grafter. Not sure, you'll know better than me. Either way, good luck :) . Respect for the pictures you put out on those flyers about the Munich situation. Good call, hope it strikes the right note and 'we' can get the derby out of the way in cracking spirit.

I also think that's the first mistake I've seen Clichy make. Certainly this season.

Clichy does that kind of thing regularly, normally he has the skill to pull it off. Unfortunate for him that the one time he gets out he got punished. That being said, am I alone in thinking that Gallas should have done more there? He could see where the danger was going to come from and could have charged down that shot but elected to just stand there like a lemon.

I didn't really notice it in that particular instance but I have thought the same of Gallas a few times before. We've shipped a few poor goals and I remember thinking he should've been killing himself to get there.

There's now 13 games left and looking at our fixtures these can be split into the next 5, 4 and 4.

next 5.

H Blackburn Rovers

A Birmingham City

H Aston Villa

A Wigan Athletic

H Middlesbrough

We've got to be looking at getting 15 points from these.

next 4.

A Chelsea

A Bolton Wanderers

H Liverpool

A Manchester Utd

If we are top after these then you've gotta be confident.

last 4

H Reading

A Derby County

H Everton

A Sunderland

All definitely winable.

It's getting a bit scary now, every game is like a cup final.

Obviously this doesn't take the FA cup or CL fixtures into account. They are in between the scary looking fixtures of course.

Edit: if we are still in these competitions that is.

Given the opposition and the home/away situation it's only the United, Chelsea and Liverpool games that concern me. All the others are more than winnable and I'd be gutted to drop more than two points from the lot of them. Liverpool at home you'd think we'd win and the United and Chelsea games are 50/50 or a bit in their favour cos of home advantage. It's all about injuries and suspensions. Fresh legs at the right time (eg van Persie) will be invaluable.

With regards to Clichy's mistake on Saturday, yes we are guilty of overplaying sometimes, but you can't tell the players "get the ball down, play football...but sometimes hoof it out, you know if there's any pressure on". It doesn't work like that, you either play passing football or you don't. I get a little frustrated watching us walk it out and get caught in possesion but that is a danger of the way we play (although we don't mind the odd long ball now up to Adebayor.) It's probably our fault anyway for praising him so much last week.

I can't even look at what games we have left. I was so nervous on Saturday at 2-1 I was gonna stop watching. That middle section of games look particularly scary. One game at a time, one game at a time...

I don't think I can cope with this until May.

According to Monsieur Wenger, we'll need around 90 league points to win the title. So that's 10 wins from our last 13 games.

Looking at the fixtures... it's do-able... as long as we don't draw too many against the 'lesser' teams.

Yeah, but the first time he's cocked it up? Non?

No, sorry. I meant Clichy.

Slightly worrying that Saturday's team consisted of just about every available player we have left. The bench consisted of Fabianski, Bendtner, Hoyte Traore, Walcott. Bendtner's the only one you'd think could come on and turn the game.

Almunia has twisted his thumb apparently!

Any more injuries and we really will be on the edge.

Have you seen the Liverpool squad recently? They've not got many of those in the starting 11.

(Okay Crouch can and is usually a bencher, but he SHOULD be starting).

It gets worse:

Arsenal midfielders Mathieu Flamini and Abou Diaby have suffered injury scares whilst on international duty on Tuesday night.

Flamini was forced off after just 17 minutes as a France reserve side played out a 0-0 draw against DR Congo in Marbella, and Diaby failed to start the game due to a calf problem.

Following the fixture, which also saw North London team-mate Gael Clichy make his first appearance for Raymond Domenech, RMC reported that Flamini had sustained an ankle injury but that the blow was not a serious one.

With no official confirmation yet forthcoming from the Premier League leaders, Arsenal will be hoping the fitness problem is not severe enough to keep Flamini out of Monday’s Premier League encounter against Blackburn Rovers.

The former Marseille trainee - who made his debut for Les Bleus in November - has been in impressive form alongside Cesc Fabregas in Arsene Wenger’s midfield this season, keeping World Cup winner Gilberto Silva out of the side.

Fellow midfielder Diaby's injury also seems to be a minor problem, with France coach Domenech stating: "He has a small concern with the calf, I did not want to take a risk, so he remained at rest."
