I'll be sat in an outdoor spa in Bath. No football for me.

:P

If I can get away with it after being at the Newcastle game all day I will have done well. She don't mind me watching Arsenal (she is a fan herself) but watching a Spanish game because an 18 year old is playing who is on loan from Arsenal may be pushing it.

Anyway some videos of the boy:

And here is one of him playing against Madrid and giving Ramos the run around.

Looks good. Left footed which would make a nice change.

All the ingredients are their for us to jus implode in the coming months but i think we'll get through it, Adebayor was silly but bendtner hasn't done himself any favours as he is very arrogant.

Vela is wicked i can't wait for him to join us in the summer he looks like a class act.

I really like walcott but i hope he goes on loan to a club like man city, the boy needs games under his belt and sven is a great man to help him. I'm sick of him constantly getting slated and i want him to prove everyone wrong.

29 Jan Newcastle (H)

2 Feb Man. City (A)

11 Feb Blackburn (H)

23 Feb Birmingham (A)

Our next four fixtures. All very winable save for the game against man city maybe. We could have a mini break down and scrap through with like 6-8 points. We could have a major breakdown and lose two or maybe more of those games but if we get a return of say 10 points from them I'd be very happy.

Time will tell and all that but let's hope the Spurs game got everyone to cop the fuck on and if Fab returns to form we should be alright.

(Starts praying)

I think a return of at least 10 points would be a minimum if we want to continue challenging for the PL. We really need to win something this season.

United have:

Portsmouth (H)

Sp*rs (A)

Man City (H)

Newcastle (A)

I'd expect them to win all of those, with the possible execption of Man City.

Wenger really needs to buy a decent centre-back and a proper winger. having gone to the Fulham game and seen how narrow Rosicky and Hleb can sit, maybe that's why he persists with Eboue who, for all his faults, at least gets up and down the wing.

Well maybe it wasn't that great of a team talk?

You can't have that sort of shit between team mates full stop, whether it's off the field or on. Wenger and Gallas are constantly referencing the great team spirit in the camp this season - on the other night's evidence that only applies when you're doing well - and it's up to manager and captain to sort it out. Getting rid of Bendtner would just be the easy way out and counterproductive in the long run because he actually looks pretty good imo.

Because chelski (and mourinho in particular) have been famed for losing well over the last few seasons?

Not so sure about that. Certainly not if they played like they did against Reading. Pompeys away form is outstanding, Spurs away will be a challenge, City obviously a difficult place to go and who knows, maybe Kev will have created some momentum by the time they face them. We've got much easier games, if we don't come out of the next four games at least level pegging then I'm afraid the premiership will be beyond us.

Sorry I meant a left footed midfielder would make a nice change. RvP and Eduardo are both left footed but forwards.

We must win tomorrow to get back on track. What a shame if we let this season slide into nothing. I don't think we should panic but Wenger should definitely buy a centre back and maybe a winger. Funny but I thought Reyes would fit into this team quite well. Shame he wasn't up for it. Also a shame that little runt Diarra didn't fancy fighting for his place as clearly Gilberto is finished and if something happens to Flamini...well let's not think about it.

They were poor against Reading but came away with 3 points. I imagine they would settle for that in every game.

All the the current CL teams have been guilty of it over the last few years, the managers use an us Vs them angle to create a mentality to win games, blame the ref, blame the fans, blame the other team for doing the same things we do, never ever blame yourself, admit to nothing, winning is everything, throw toys out pram when someone has the temerity to get a goal against you, beat you or put a tackle in.

I'm not a fan but it works in the PL, that Liverpool do it a bit less than the other teams are far less sucessful in the PL but have been way more sucessful in actually winning in Europe shows it's limitations in my book - think back to Leeds in the 70's as well. Teams ultimatley get found out especially as the gobbing off and ref harrasment that happens in the PL simply isn't tolerated by Uefa in the CL for starters.

Apparently he's off to Stoke on loan. I'd have thought a bottom half Premiership team would want him.

I would be suprised if anyone wants him to be honest. He has been dreadful. I hope he can make it, I really do, but I don't hold out much hope. Still maybe a loan is what he needs.

Although I thought I read somewhere that Wenger said he won't loan him out.

I thought Wenger would have let him go out on loan for the rest of the season. Wasn't it last week that Wenger was saying that a youngster is better off out on loan rather than playing in the reserves as the gap between the reserves and first team is too big.................one minute.

Here we go........

“At the moment we play the young players so quickly in the Reserve team — at 16 or 17 — that at 18 and 19 there is sometimes no challenge for them anymore,” said the Frenchman. “But it is still a little bit too early for them to play in the first team at Arsenal. So there is a little gap period for them.

“We always think about how we can use this period for the benefit for the boy and the Club. One of the solutions is to get them into clubs where they can get first-team experience.”

Central defender Kolo Touré had to be stretchered off the field shortly before half-time in the Ivory Coast's 4-1 Africa Cup of Nations win over Benin.

Having just set up the Elephants' second goal, scored by his brother Yaya, the Arsenal man collapsed in a heap as he attempted to cut out a deflected cross and injured his groin in the process.

Kolo was later seen hobbling around the stadium supported by a team official and it is feared that his part in the tournament is over, although that should be confirmed today.

shit shit and more shit!!!
