I thought Theo looked unplayable when he was in the middle channels on Wednesday. He lacks a good enough cross to play the wide areas at the moment, but when he is flying down the centre he looks incredible.

Yeah, i still expect him to like Thierry though in terms of skill. Fingers Crossed he does turn into him haha

Yeah, when it happens for him he does look really frightening. You can see why he's highly rated. Trouble is he does it all too rarely, although it's obvious that he was never gonna develop like a Rooney type. He needs time and I think Wenger will give him it. I hope he, and his advisors, are prepared to see him in and out of the team for the next two seasons.

He's a different player from last season, he has come on leaps and bounds so you can only imagine how much better he will get. Wenger is nurturing him and trying to make sure he doesn't get too many injuries and not putting alot of pressure on him which will help him develop and express his game on the pitch. He looks really good this year i keep wanting to see him play as for me he is a really exciting player, his crossing is getting better and i'm sure that if he is played down the middle he'll start banging the goals in.

Seems like Diarra wants out. I'd sell him in January, I think. If he can't fight for his place and accept that he has no divine right to start every match then he's not the player for us. I haven't seen anything that would put him ahead of Flamini anyway  . Just seems like a moaning little tart.

JT shouldn't have been on the pitch! He could've had 2 reds the dirty bastard!! Glad we got the goal as now they actually have to come out as for the past 20mins they've just sat in their half. I'd like to see van persie on later as i don't trust eboue not to get sent off.

decent game....and fairly open.

But why oh why is it that Arsene is oblidged to screw with a game as always! Why did Gilberto come on? What did he do - apart from conceding a foul? With the absence of Eboue, the blues were encouraged to push on their right flank but then to take oh Hleb would only invite them outright. It was clear Chelsea were slightly more confident moving forward with the absense of Eboue and Hleb.

Van Persie was bought on way too late.

And so was Bentdner for Emmanuel.
