"Just looking at Adebayor as a technician and as a player, that is what every striker should aspire to. He is just fantastic."

That's what I've been saying all along :( . His goal yesterday was a first class finish.

I think I said it before in here but when Adebayor scores or creates one it makes such a difference. I know that sounds obvious but he does so much crap, ugly work, chasing down, holding the ball up etc. that if he doesn't score it can seem like he does nothing but huff and puff and run around like a headless chicken. I think he's a great player to have in the squad and if he can get 15-20 goals in all competitions (7 so far, all in the league) this season he will have had a fantastic season. And just to stress, he is 23.

What with everyone being on top form this season Eduardo has hardly had a look in, even with RVP being out for a while we could have expected him to get a run in the team and he hasn't.

But before we start panicking his stats for the season so far are actually very good.

---Apps --- Goals ---Assists

--- 8 ---- 4 ---- 5

I do think he needs to play down the middle as a proper centre forward, reminds me of Robbie Fowler, not sure where this fits in with Wengers plan but we'll see. It seems we'll need to be a bit patient and he'll come good I'm sure.

I'm bored by the way, what with this international break again, even though the Scotland game should be exciting and Isreal v Russia should be interesting.

There's been a few, but Bergkamp is arguably the best foreign import the PL has had.

Will we see another like him? Probably not to be honest as players like this don't come around that often.

Saying that, in years to come maybe Cesc can be up there with Dennis.

Fabregas? Model professional? He's got a bit of a mouth on for that, surely?

EDIT: Alright, that could change by 10 years time, but he's not doing himself many favours at the moment.

Shut it! Most of the top players have a mean streak in them, that fire inside that makes them a just that bit better. I was trying to say that even though great players have gone, other potentially great players are already showing what they are about.

Yeah, it's not like Gerrard, Ronaldo, Keane, Vieira or anyone like that is/has been afraid of saying what they think...

Arsenal star Mathieu Flamini has suffered an injury and did not take part in Les Bleus’ last training session.

The Gunners’ manager Arsene Wenger will now be waiting for news on his midfielder’s fitness.

'The French Gattuso', as he is dubbed by his team-mates, has been a key player for the London side this season, and relegated former vice-captain Gilberto to the substitute bench with his form.

Flamini made his international debut last Friday in the 2-2 draw against Morocco at Stade de France, appearing for the nine last minutes of the game.

Les Bleus manager Raymond Domenech has revealed that the midfielder and Lilian Thuram did not take part of Sunday’s training session.

Experienced Thuram has been rested, whereas Flamini 'suffered a little something', Domenech said without explaining the extent of his injury.

Arsene Wenger is already without midfielder Cesc Fabregas for The Premier League clash with Wigan at the weekend due to suspension, and could also lose another starter.

Lassana Diarra and Gilberto could be called in by Wenger, as Abou Diaby also injured himself with the France Under-21 team.

Fucking shit Internationals.

Denilson in the middle with Diarra anyone?
