Walcott hit the post, he was very unlucky. Great result we never looked troubled and the whole team are playing the same football the 1st team does. Eduardo had a really cool and composed game, Walcott was great his pace caused them problems all night, for me Denilson just pipped Diarra for Man of the match. They were both immense but denilsons goal just topped it for me. Though i have to say that Diarra looks class and i would love to see them both start a few games in the league as they both deserve more games.

A team of 20 year olds made that look easy. Fair play to em. Wallcott is pretty nippy isnt he - plus doesnt dive and gets on with it even after many a challenge. Good on the lad.

Thank fuck for that, I don't watch the guy week in week out but he's hardly world class, or am I missing something?

He's made a lot of progress in his time at Arsenal. He's starting to resemble a prototype Drogba or Kanu type player. He's still a bit rough but when he's the finished article he'll be an absolute nightmare for defenders to deal with. Personally I would have him at Anfield in a flash.

Just about sums it up I would say. If he can consistently add some end product to his play he will be a top player.

The wings will be so important today, I fully expect Clichy and Sagna to dominate Nani & Ronaldo (and he can't switch wings to get away this time, ha!). They've got no particular height advantage up front either, so that suits Kolo & Bill.

We haven't really got started. Not a very ambitious line up. I'd really like to see us go 4-4-2 early on, take off Eboue for Eduardo or Theo and shuffle it a bit.

I don't like this ref, I thought he was awful in the Liverpool game too.

Very cool finish from Gallas.

Which leads me to a point I want to make. Gallas as captain I like. Gallas as a player I just don't see it. I've not been impressed one bit since he joined us. Anyone see it different, and if so why?

Anyway, I wanted four points from Liverpool and United. I'll take two though, especially in the circumstances :unsure: . I think we looked a fair bit better than the pair of them which is encouraging. I thought United were pretty poor.
