I want to see more Eduardo!

Same here mate :P Can only think he enjoyed himself a bit too much in Croatia during the break, otherwise he would have made the bench at least Sat.

Off to get the train in about 10 minutes - whole day seems to have dragged along in anticipation. First outing for my new classic red and white bar scarf as well - a snip at £5 from the Finsbury Park store (I'm not someone who buys club tat normally mind but this is actually made in the UK so come on and support British industry whilst showing the colours).

I bought a scarf too but won't have it with me tonight as i'm coming straight from work. They are excellent. Lovely gold cannon.

Everyone who is going, don't forget to get loaded before you get in the ground as there's no beer inside tonight, Champions League remember. Hip flask at the ready.

Hmm, reply still crashing my browser at work, so Dogsout, er yes. Whoops! Instead of getting dumped out by a poor PSV side.

Yes, we'll get Barca and it will be hailed as a match for "pure football" or "attacking football". Then Barca will play defensively and nick a couple of jammy goals at the end.

I'm looking forward to the Liverpool v Chelski tie :) (not that chelski will get past the group stages this year).

Superb all round team performance and a great result.

Wenger pulled off a little suprise by resting Gilberto and sticking with Flamini who to be fair has been excellent so far this season.

Was impressed with Sagna and Clichy, Cesc was just..... well Cesc really, Adebayor worked hard and was a handfull for their defence, Hleb looked good and Flamini was great. RVP done well too and it's quite encouraging that there's so much more to come from him, glad that he got on the scoresheet and glad that Eduardo scored. He looks a natural goalscorer, right place right time and all that.

As for meeting Barca - bring it on.

What a night.

Great atmosphere at the Emirates and the place erupted after Cesc scored the first and I was nervously wondering if he would get credited and I would get my money. Makes up for my losing bet on the Wales rugby game last weekend!

Alves never came to anything in the end, we marshalled very well for 95% of the time. Clichy was excellent again, he just gets better every game. Hleb ran and ran. But, as usual, he wasn't as effective out wide as he can be. Flamini worked very hard too, but his passing was off all night I thought. England's new number looked good! One nervous juggle of the ball but otherwise he spent a lot of teh game watching shots go high and wide.

The stadium was half empty with a few minutes to go but the volume was still incredible. Really glad Eduardo scored, he looks to be a natural forward and I really hope he gets a decent run this weekend.

Anyway brilliant night that got even better when I got home and found out Mourinho had gone!

Going for the Derby game this weekend too which should be fun. Just hoping that the guy who's season ticket I use continues to be away a lot so I can get to plenty of games.

Saw the goals this morning at last. Lovely passing for the third and a really tidy finish.

I think Cesc is luck to be credited with that goal, looked like it was going wide to me, but a goal's a goal.

Is it too early to book a flight to Moscow?

Reckon you are right but cheers anyway to Paddy Power...looking forward to that cash, much needed at the moment.

So, what do we reckon for Saturday?
