I might be able to manage my first european away trip this year. Prague is definitely an option.

Go for it  .

I've only managed the CL final as a Euro away day. Loved it, such a special atmosphere.

My ex missus had been to loads of places overseas to watch us play. Always got on my nerves, that  . She liked reminding me.

I'm coming to the Emirates Sunday! Can't wait, especially if Taylor scores some more screamers like last season!

Dream on  . Hope you enjoy it though, it's a lovely stadium when you're seated. A bit bland behind the scenes, IMHO. Terrific in terms of seating, pitch, scale etc. And the approach is brilliant, it's fucking massive as it comes into view.

Anyone from here going?

Constantly regretting giving up my season ticket  . Lots on here still go though.

What are your thoughts on Adams? I was gonna ask the Arsenal boys the same question.

I'll enjoy it even if we get a thrashed, which we probably will. Going to be a great day out though and hopefully a great atmosphere. Easily going to be the best stadium I've been to. (Only Fulham and Watford last season and they are just as bad as Fratton )

Do you mean how well Adams has done here at Pompey? He's going to make a great Manager one day that's for sure.

Yeah, that's what I meant. Obviously, he's a name for the Arsenal hot seat one day. After an odd start he seems to be doing it right in terms of experience, being a coach etc. I'd love him to be our boss one day. Will it happen? I hope it will on proper credentials rather than a romantic notion.

Anyway, enjoy your day at ours!

I'll be there (S/T in block 103). Looking forward to the old boys reunion. Hopefully a good day out for you. I think you might even stay dry if it rains :)

It's bollocks though. It's just the same story that's doing the rounds at the moment but with the added (and we must assume fictitious) bit about "ARSENE WENGER will join forces with the Russian revolution". Yet in their story they offer no evidence that Wengers said a damn thing either way. Usual Sun horseshit.

Is everyone here against the takeover?

Totally and utterly AGAINST.

What about feelings on dein?

Well, I thought it was a mistake to get rid in the first place and I thought it was shoddy treatment for Mr Arsenal.

But since then it's become clear that he's sneaky and wants to take the Club in a new direction and with new money. I think this latest move and the noises Red and White are making are hostile and most of what they say is clearly rubbish. And I'm surprised that Dein has gotten into bed with such a dodgy character. It comes across as a desperate move to take over the Club and have some revenge. I hope the majority shareholders stand firm on their agreement. The 'Bank of England Club' may be run by a bunch of old farts but the Club has been moving steadily forward for three decades now. The stadium move was an incredible achievement. Pulling all that together, with all the problems, red tape, funding etc. was almost impossible. I think the Club is still an institution, with class and history. I don't want that lost to some Russian crime lord.

As I see it, the Club as it stands today must be one of, if not the, most safely positioned and well run in the world with every right to look forwards with optimism. I'll have to reconsider my love if we get taken over, it just won't be the same.

I can understand what your saying, it seems like dein wants to be back at arsenal no matter the cost. It's also something that we don't need right now the squad has a great togetherness which doesn't need denting

Exactly. And like I said earlier, so what if this guy pumps in £100m or whatever? Wenger still won't spend it <_< . It's all bollocks. If we really need players we can buy them ourselves. Dein is talking utter shit about needing outside money to move forward.

I'm waiting for the financial report at the end of September, apparently it's pretty impressive.

Yeah thats what reports were suggesting, if we have made a big step forward financially then why would we want to be taken over? I was thinking last night about the situation and really if there was unlimited money who would wenger buy? I can't really think of any esp as we have an exciting young team and this year we have the team spirit which is making us look just that little more threatening. This is an ecxiting year for an arsenal fan

My thoughts on today? Welcome Mr Diarra and fuck off Mr Dein and your blood money bitches.

We have a wealth of central midfield talent now which I hope will see Eduardo being used on the left wing, that boy looks dangerous in any attacking position. Its clear now more than ever that Wenger is keen on buying good team players rather than betting it all on one man. We now have the future of the French midfield on our books which is prety fucking tasty.

Its also clear that we don't need extra money - le boss has all but confirmed in his statements (plus this signing) that he is sticking around for a while and he has worked well within his budget. Whoever (Daley or Dude I think) said they agreed with arseblog - i completely agree.

If we can get Djourou back as cover for King Kolo, our keepers are kept hungry for first team football and our midfield keep firing then we have every reason to be confident.

ARSENAL!!!

Also, he has Red Fred and Wrighty's number, a good sign!
