So, with Eboue out, Rosicky out and Eduardo unlikely to start what do we think the team will be?

I imagine Hleb will move wide. Possibly Denilson on the left and Bendtner up front with van Persie? I wouldn't mind a bit of Bendtner's physical presence away at Blackburn. Shame Diaby isn't fit.

God knows, frankly. Da Silva looks unlikely to start, and I don't think Wenger will throw Bendtner in just yet. Saying that would suggest a customary 4-5-1 formation we adopt for physical away games, although we appear to be slightly light on anyone to go on either wing, so it's anyone's guess. Maybe a tight four in the centre with Diaby playing behind Van Persie?

I'm very positive about our team, the same cannot be said for the squad however. We desperately need a left winger. Anyone with a left foot will do - Glenn Helder, I don't care. Anyone. Also, I don't want to sign Anelka like the world and its Wife are suggesting we should. I don't care how much he's grown up, or if my memory appears to be longer than other people's, he treated us disgracefully and forgiveness shan't be forthcoming from me. Stick Sol in the same box too whilst I'm at it.

I like your thinking. I agree with almost all of that. I hear you on Anelka, but he's not too shabby. Good player who Wenger likes. He'd give him another 20%. Pace, finishing etc. One to consider at least. Again, I do hear you though.

And your avatar :D . Man with two brains. Wicked.

It's hard for Wenger to know what to do. Of course, it'll seem like a knee jerk reaction to drop Lehmann after two Premiership games... but then if there's another mistake like this, and then another, at what point does it become enough to think he needs to be dropped? I wonder if Fabiankski is ready to step up or if Almunia would be preferred at this point.

Jens has made a stupid mistake at least once a season since we've bought him, but for the most part he's fairly solid, and pulls of some astounding saves.

Fact is, he's older, and has so far made 2 absolutely major fuck ups that were nobody else's fault but his own, and we have a good, young goalie who sounds desperate for first team football.

It's a no-brainer.

I agree with pretty much all of the comments in here after today.

Positives..

Sagna has near enough convinced me.

Clichy (sorry to sound like a stuck record) is the man. More players like him, please.

Gallas is definitely the right captain.

Cesc is now a man. He's everywhere, the complete player. Not his best game, mind. Still.. AWESOME.

Flamini floats my boat for some reason or another.

Negatives..

Walcott should still be at Southampton. For another year, at least.

Jens! Jesus, I love him. So good but one too many fuck ups. I fear for his successor, will they adopt the 'stand on his toes' and 'dig him in the ribs' approach for our next keeper? And, also, can you drop him now? What if Almunia drops a bollock in his first game? Where do you go from there?

Bendtner. I was screaming for him to come on. Doesn't do enough to justify a start.

Hleb needs to play in the hole, otherwise he's wasted.

van Persie is isolated. I don't know the answer to that one.

We're short of a striker. Anelka, please. Wenger would make him the best forward in the division.

Much love.

I'd never thought I would see the day where I would be sitting on the internet reading that both Arsenal and Man Utd fans both want to see their respective clubs sign Nicolas Anelka.

Robbie Savage is a ginormous cunt.

I was gonna skip that subject.

Is there a more despicable character on the planet? My fingers hurt from typing this cos he doesn't even justify any recognition that he exists.

In any other industry he's unemployable. How could anyone put up with him on their workforce? He's nasty and he makes me sick. Football is worse for having him and in my opinion he should be gotten rid of. I'm embarrassed for his family, I really am.

I have no more words. I could turn the air blue. Like I say, let's ignore his existence.

Also, Blackburn are shit. I'm glad that we seem to have a bit of bollocks about us now. Fuck teams like them. Tactic: kick the opposition. Screw that bollocks. There's no real excuse. I regret giving up my season ticket, but at least none my cash goes to a team like that.

Annnnnd.. relax :( .

It's a sad old life following a football team in 2007.

I'll high five you, without the graphic.

He's not half bad though, right?

Oh, and that penalty? Jesus. Worst decision EVER.

Ah come on. Jens made mistakes over the past years and afterwards saved like a hero.

This is afterwards.

And with things as close as they are in the premiership in recent years (one point above Tottenham for 4th, same points as Liverpool and still 4th) that goal could very well mean the difference between 1st and 2nd.

We can't afford to have someone on our team who is known to make mistakes.

It's a truth :( .

Remember the pens against United in the final? I was in the crowd sitting with a bloke dressed as fucking Alan Sunderland, milking it and wishing each other happy Jensday! The save in the CL semi? The feeling of being so gutted for him it the CL final? The numerous saves that, in my opinion, made him borderline the bast keeper in the world?

You can't have an accident waiting to happen. It's all about the transition to a new keeper. I really like Almunia. Top fella, deserves a chance. I'd stick the Pole in. Maybe in two matches time.

Aye, I do love the guy, he's been pure entertainment since he joined Arsenal, but we just can't afford to keep him anymore.
